    I think Swanigan is a much better shooter than Vonleh. And he likes to bang. That gives him the advantage in my opinion.

    I suspect that Vonleh's defense will be better, but Swanigan's aggressiveness v. Vonleh's passivity, plus Swanigan's outside shooting will tip the scales in Caleb's favor sooner or later. Still need to see if Caleb can learn to score against the big boys down low.

    I completely agree with that. To me the big question is if Swanigan can cover quicker stretch fours at least as well as Vonleh. If he can then I think everything else (passing, rebounding, shooting) is in his favor. But, if Swanigan can't keep up on the perimeter then it might be a struggle.

    I should have included his passing in my post. I am a big fan of good passing big men. Caleb definitely showed that in Summer League (which is completely meaningless of course, donchaknow).
