Yeah, that was after Rondo got hurt. The Bulls with Rondo were killing the Celtics.

The East outside the Cavaliers is probably the worst a conference has ever been. But the Cavs have also flipped the proverbial switch. Should be an interesting Finals.

Irving showing his Aussie roots, he passed the ball to the ref with an Aussie Rules handball.

You can't guard James with Horford or Olynyk. When the Cavs play James at the 4, you have to play small ball. I don't know why the Celtics are doing this.

2001-02 and 2002-03 was really really weak for East. Nets had no competition.

I agree, those are other greater contenders. If it's just "worst conference," in total, then the Cavaliers alone drag this conference away from those.

This has to be embarrassing for the NBA.

A two-game sweep. Impressive. Cavaliers will have about two weeks off before the Finals.

I think the #1 pick just became untouchable. No (realistic) short-term improvements are bridging this gap. Not even both Butler (in trade) and Hayward.

This is the kind of killing that could, and maybe should, completely change the plan. Like, maybe trade Thomas for multiple first-rounders, if possible, and build for several years down the line around Fultz, Brown and whomever they draft with next year's Nets pick.

Agree with all of this. They're not going anywhere with Thomas. Maxing him would be a huge mistake.

Lebron is a monster. By the end of his career there will definitely be debates on who was the greatest of all time. I think I would always take Jordan though
