    Hello darkness, my old friend
In 2009? Nah, I don't think they'll get past the Orlando Magic.

Golden State fans are going to be at another level now. I was watching Yankees/Angels game and as Aaron Judge hit a home run I noticed the guy behind him in the seats had a T-Shirt that said, "LEBRON IS A DOUCHE." Next year at Moda is going to be FUUUUUUN!

    Yawn...

So, GSW won. Nobody saw that coming...

So, if you score over 30 points in every game and are the Finals MVP, is it still considered riding someone else's coattails when you win a ring?

    Irving played like ass.
I hope people put him where he should be. A top 15 point guard in the NBA.
Sure he can score, but so can Kemba.
Kemba isn't playing with fucking Mewtwo either. Yet has super similar stats to the player playing with Mewtwo.
    Kemba > Irving.

Welp, here are your 2016-2017......-2018-2019-2020-2021-202x chumpions The Golden Shower Whoriors.

Believe it or not, i think this is exactly what this league deserves. Not even 5 years after Stern stepped down and this is how Silver has ruined the league:

    - Watching 3 point shots are way more interesting than watching good post play, lets only call fouls behind the 3point line and almost no fouls in the paint.
-If we allow moving screens there will be more 3 point shots! watch this phenomenal Curry kid drain threes while zaza\bogus\Donkey is shoving Curry's defender out of the way.
-IT'S OK TO NOT HAVE A SALARY CAP FOR ONE OFFSEASON, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG???:hcp:
-All teams should have the same salary cap even though the tax is different in every city.

    The result? This garbage league.
I guess kids will enjoy this shitty product.

People had no problem with ANDRE IGUODALA as finals MVP, so how can you have a problem with Durant?

Sidenote: do you have to be a SF to win Finals MVP?

Why does Mike Brown make it his mission in life to prevent Cleveland from getting championships?

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Nobody has an issue with "superteams" put together by GMs. Any impossibly good and talented team is okay as long as the GM drafted or traded for the players. Superteams only draw "purist fan" ire (as opposed to those dirty "casuals") when players make decisions for themselves. That certainly makes it seem like those fans dislike such superteams because players are daring to make decisions for themselves rather than being comforting pawns to be moved around. Nothing to do, really, with competitiveness of the league.

And I still stand by my weirdly controversial assertion that if the Blazers had put together a homegrown powerhouse and someone like Durant had chosen to join as a free agent, no one here would hate Durant or the Blazers.
