Not surprised. All the hate Kobe gets around here. Love him or hate him, it was beautiful watching him play ball.

I am a fan of the Blazers. I just don't care to watch these same two teams 'duke it out' for another year. Didn't watch last year and won't watch this year. Not interested.

Because some great things get boring after awhile. People get bored of the same shit. The NBA in general is boring because everyone knew these two teams would play in the Finals. Also, Draymond is a disgrace to the game and nobody wants to watch his antics. Who gives a fuck about the outcome? I'll probably watch a little bit. Even if I watched a lot, I still wouldn't really give a fuck.

Disagree. He won two titles without Shaq as the best player. He still was beautiful to watch.

Allen Iverson was a ballhog who also was beautiful to watch.

I'm going to watch the playoffs but it won't have the same import for me... the same matchup third time around. I get that it's about personalities and brands. Its about exposure and selling shoes. And that's what draws the big buckle in. And if you live by everything the NBA sells, yeah that's great. But to me it just gets bombastic and old after a while. Even the Pats and Yankees fuck up sometimes on the way to the Finals.

Some great points being made about this upcoming series! The biggest is that this is the first time in history that the same two teams will have met for 3 consecutive years!! Celtics and Lakers great teams never did that.

It's also the SEVENTH consecutive NBA Finals for the chump named Lebron James! : )

I hope it goes 7 games again. Then, I don't care the outcome. Just fun to watch good basketball.
I just watched replay of last years game 7 finish. Kyrie shot, and Lebron block won the game/series!!

Question: Will you root for Durant and the Warriors to prevail? I have a tough time rooting for the rich getting richer concept.
Not that Cav's are poor. I get it.

I can root for Channing Frye....I just have a hard time rooting for Lebron...I watched those finals replays and thought Lebron's crying on the floor looked so staged ....he stood up and talked like he was recording an infomercial.......I just don't have a dog in this fight...will watch the series though as a fan of the game..just not invested in the outcome very much...I always rooted for the Jazz against the Bulls when the Blazers were out of the playoffs....I do not like Draymond Green either....tough to pick.

Let's face it, I'm not going to be happy with an NBA finals series until the Blazer are in it. That said, this should be an entertaining matchup with some high caliber basketball. I'll be watching. After all, it's a long time until fall camp.

It's ridiculous how long in between the Conf Finals and the Finals. Total loss of any momentum they did have.

The schedule for the start of the finals was set at the beginning of the playoffs and had to allow for each of the preliminary rounds to go seven games. The Cavs and Warriors slicing through the competition with only one loss between them resulted in this long break. I guess the only question is why the NBA is rigid on the starting date for the finals. My guess would be advertising sales.

I would love to see the look on KD's face when he loses after the amazing season they had (again!). Really just goes to show how hard it is to win it all. OKC will dye laughing. Nothing against him just hate the "let's make a super team" philosophy......unless it's us doing it.

I wonder which color OKC will opt for if Durant and the Warriors really end up losing
