He's nowhere near as bouncy/explosive as KMart.

I've watched him a couple times and struck me as a good college player that would struggle to translate his game to the NBA. Not sure he's a pg either and if he's a 2, his physical profile looks pretty average.

Stylistically, he actually reminds me of Malcolm Brogdon though, but with less length and strength. Brogdon was a steadier/calmer presence on the floor as well.

So then, we should pick up Jordan Bell as well. The Tacko-Bell rookie frontcourt would be sick.

Well, I like that he is described as playing with a huge motor. Don't see that much it seems.

I just can't get excited about drafting back-up big at best prospects, especially when there's overwhelming odds against them providing that type of value over the 1st 2 years of their contract plus an existing surplus in the market for that kind of player.

You're better off filling the spot with somebody on a vet min and investing valuable 1st round picks on other positions/higher-end talent.

I'm pretty set on my picks - possibly the earliest I've ever been set:

    Blazer pick: OG Anunoby
    Memphis pick: Ike Anigbogu
    Cleveland pick: Kostaja Mushidi
Trade for/second round buy: Jonathan Jeanne

I'd be fine with drafting one of these type of guys, but I'm not comfortable taking 3 or 4.

Outside of maybe Jeanne, I don't think you are getting great odds of a starter emerging out of this group and they all are quite a ways off from providing even neutral value.

    Three are most definitely projects.

Outside Anunoby the theee prospects are my 'Willy Hernangomez' picks - prospects who, in hindsight, should've been taken a lot higher than where they were picked.

Mushidi/Jeanne are indeed YEARS away but are worth investing in.

Its in the Shawn Marion/Kevin Martin mold.

    Puff and huff.

I like OG if we can't trade up for Collins.

No one has thanked me for teaching the board about OG.

Swanigan with one of our later picks would be nice. TJ Leaf has bust written all over him.

I see Bones was talking about him back in December. Your "lessons" go back further?

Question for me is this....Turner is getting paid no matter what. Why not rebuild your shot from the ground up this summer?

I can accept a hideous looking shot if it goes in all the time (Reggie Miller)

    Turner ain't Reggie.

I know people will say "he's done this for years and it is too late"

    Has anyone actually tried it?

I think the thing I like most about Justin Jackson is his presence on the floor. Always seems alert, aggressive and decisive.

    Basically the opposite of AC.

And I just don't think he fails.

The Willy Hernangomez in this draft. Still a few years away but if he's there with the Memphis pick you have to take him.
