Yes please. These highlights are very good, and against a very strong team too.

Seems like a nice role player at some point. Never want to target those guys in the lottery. But whatever

First time I saw De Aaron Fox was last night. I guess he is only 6'4", but he looked like he was SF size, probably because of his hair. He is sure a player on both sides of the ball, but out of our range.

I wonder how high into the top 10 we could get it we offered up our two other picks along with our own.

Maybe 6-7 depending on the team. Sacramento may be the team that would want more picks

I watched every game he played in the NBL (because he played for my team). Good athleticism, long, good spot-up shooter when he doesn't think about it. His age was very obvious, but learnt a lot from the start of the season to the end. Got benched in a heartbeat when he made any decision making error. Coach didn't really trust his composure (due to his age) at the back end of the season; but that's more on the coach than Ferguson. Great attitude, really wanted to learn, and compete. Needed to have more belief in himself. He was very surprised by the physicality of the league, but adapted, and will be better for it; made him more NBA ready.

That's a 12 year vet (who is notoriously punchable) he took a swing at.

I think he has a career in the NBA as a solid 3nD wing. Has the athletic ability to be more, and shows the ability to develop his skills to be more, but doesn't have the attitude to be more. He's too nice. Great guy, but doesn't have the arsehole nature required to be great. Whoever drafts him will need to be patient to get the best out of him.

Sidenote: also in those clips is Jerome Randle. He could easily make it in the NBA offensively, but can't guard a chair, so never will.

There's a very good chance we don't pick in the lottery.

That seems to be the biggest commonality in busts. They were drafted for size or athletic ability (guys like Tyrus Thomas, Thomas Robinson, Kwame Brown etc) The biggest commonality in good players that fall is that they didn't have outstanding measurables but had skill and grit...Matthews, Arenas, Kersey, Green, Gianobli, Milsap....

Maybe to discourage tanking, the NBA should implement a rule that you can only have a top 10 pick so many years in a row, then you get the least number of ping pong balls in the lottery.

How would you feel about this

    1A. Hartenstein

    1B. Ferguson

    1C. Bell

Hartenstein fills the role the team wanted Leonard to fill. Can backup Nurkic or play the four next to him. Spaces the court and can rebound. Big upside. An athletic euro, with local ties.

Ferguson a 3 and D guy. I feel like his weaknesses are fixable. I like how hard he plays despite being so skinny. Adds another shooter to the mix, something we definitely need. Could be Kevin Martin with defense.

Bell is a plug and play prospect with his defensive versatility. I love guys that can defend more than two positions. Don't need to say more, most Blazers fans already know about him.

Ok, I'm gonna get blasted for this. I say we trade down. Get Bell, Brooks, and Boucher. They are hometown guys, and have played together successfully. We all know what they need (like 50 lbs for Boucher). Still, that would be awesome to integrate into the team. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION. Lol

Olshey seems like one of those guys that would go out of his way to NOT draft a local guy because he fucking hates all of youz

I'd be very okay with a Justin Jackson/Bam Adebayo/Jordan Bell draft.

You can just tell that Smith will be a solid NBA player.

We don't need him but I think he would be a great pick for the Knicks at #6. He will be a better player than either Lonzo ball or Markelle Fultz, whichever of those two doesn't live up to expectations.

This is going to be the kind of draft where we are standing up right in front of the TV just like a playoff game. Every pick could be a trade or end up ours one way or another. We have so many opportunities to move up and down and trade players that it's going to be exciting right down to the last pick. :breakdance:
