>I would delete "any" from reference to NBA. Without doubt, Hockey playoffs are all that a true "sports" fan could imagine. Baseball is a longstanding tradition, that even the politicians stick their noses and asses into. The most boring sports are golf and Olympic curling.
So happy you got to experience all that. Amazing. And, not only re-think their stance, but stop having the media tell them how to think and feel.
Those guys look alike. They're probably brothers. But I'll tell ya what... If that was a stranger and that what my lady, There would've been a FIGHT in the stands that night... Fuck that... I was pissed for that lady.
It is boring. EXCEPT when these series start. Baseball isn't NEARLY as aggressive in the regular season. Guys don't hit like that, nor do they base run like that. There was some RISKY base running. The post season is amazingly more exciting that the 162 game (why the fuck??) long ass season.
I'm generally a pacifist, but there's a decent chance I'd sucker punch someone who did that to my wife or one of my children. Possible I'd be too shocked at the sheer audacity to respond; also possible the guy would get tossed over the railing. However, you're correct--they are brothers, that was his sister-in-law that he took the ball from, and she allegedly is only angry because she wanted to throw it back herself. https://sports.yahoo.com/real-story...-threw-back-yasiel-puigs-homer-061457136.html
I'm glad. My first thought was that it was a random guy taking the ball. I saw this as it happened and rewound it and talked about it with my boy. I saw they really looked alike and that must of been his brother and that they all knew each other. I'm glad she didn't want to keep the ball.
Probably the best World Series I've seen so far...last night's game was great baseball.....I agree with the pitchers that the balls are juiced...nobody could control a slider all night and even foul balls were reaching the nosebleeds....what a game!
One thing about this that is surprising the hell out of me are the home runs. I mean, home runs have been up the past two years, since they are telling hitters to be aggressive against the shifts. But this series has been RIDICULOUS. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Starting pitchers are complaining that the new shipment of balls used during the playoffs are a lot slicker. Almost all pitchers now throw hard, real hard. Just look at Verlander and Kershaw, but it seems like everybody is having problems locating their sliders. And even contact hitters are driving these balls out of the park. It feels almost like the 90's in some ways.
As much as I want to hate the Dodgers.....I'll admit I like their team....I want the Astros to win it...Altuve is a freak of nature....dude hit's with his entire torso..amazing swing
I'm a Dodgers fan, but Altuve is amazing to watch. He makes short guys like me proud. Super dangerous hitter and base runner.
Short guys with good hand eye coordination and meaty arms/hands have probably the best body type for baseball. Pete Rose was built that way. Yogi Berra. Honus Wagner. Kirby Puckett. And all those players could play multiple positions as well. Being a great athlete and being a great baseball player are two different things. I'd say 5'11" is the ideal height in baseball.
Some guy has bet $14 million on game 7. He has bet on every game winning each time for 6-0...letting it all ride for tonights game
