    Nice! Mark Few knows basketball!

Barrett by far, imo, is going to be better than Zion in the Pro's.

Sorry @dviss1, but it's gotta be done.

    Told ya.
    Oh really?
Rui won the game with multiple possessions of great rim protection.

    Overhyped.
But team basketball matters in college ball.
Gonzaga fanboy, or am I "woke"? I dunno. Probably both.
    I'm sorry for your loss.
Because you were buying into the cliche media overhyping, just like they did with the Lakers this year.

Heard it here last, they didn't even make it to December...

I tried telling you man... you were buying into the media hype too much, and we're making arguments that all the casual fans would've made. I know you're better than that, which is why I went back and forth with you on this.

Oh yeah, and Gonzaga was without their 2nd best player.

    Go Zags.

I haven't seen it yet, because I was working, but one game wouldn't really shake my opinion that I think if the Blazers had the #1 pick I'd want them to get Zion. I might not get a chance to see it for a while, Blazer game incoming.

Mark Few is such a good coach, so much better than Coach K.

They're polar opposites IMO. Coach K is so overrated.

Coach K is such a fake self-righteous type, ugh he drives me crazy. I have to try to stay respectful here, but I don't really like that guy... What Few does with the talent he gets is so much more impressive to me (thought admittedly the conference Gonzaga plays in, is pretty bad...), than what Coach K cheats and lies his way through. - I should back off of that but some of the things Coach K says are either he's completely oblivious or just lying...

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa there big guy. Time out.
Coach K has five national chamionships. He was an assistant coach on the 74-75 Indiana Hoosiers. Maybe the greatest championship team ever. And I'm just as happy as you that he went down. But there is a reason he gets all the plaudits he gets. Gonzaga winning should be more proof that Mark Few is a great coach. But Coach K is isn't overrated. Even Wooden had dry spells.

None of which were won due to his coaching. Hes a great recruiter who's benefited by his schools name recognition. And assistant coach? Nah, I'm judging him as a head coach, and hes overrated.

None? Coach K wouldn't have survived in the ACC back then if he hadn't been a great coach. In the early 80's, UNC, NCState, Maryland, and Virginia all had first rate programs. He got Duke to a three seed in the NCAA tournament within four years. And thats when Dean Smith was in his heyday with Michael Jordan and James Worthy. He was a good recruiter but his first classes sure as hell weren't built on the reputation that Duke has now.

He still has always had elite college players... players that were etter at the college level than MJ was. I'm not even saying he's a bad coach, just not what he's chalked up to be.

What? I just saw he had 22/10 against the number 3 team in the country.

I did some work in Vegas with Team USA, and I can tell you in our meetings and the few interactions we had with Coach K, that he is a very nice, down to earth genuine guy.
    Just thought I’d share that.

Also @dviss1, I'm telling ya, Rio is a good defender.

    This stretch is proof.

...at the time of my post he was looking very mediocre. He must've heard me :dunno: but still not all that impressed -- not sure why pundits think he is going to be the next GOAT!

Yeah Rui had 20. Is he gonna be the KD to Zioff's LeBron?
