I have 0 interest in Rozier and his chucking, along with RFA status. They can keep him and move him later.

Not sure if you're being serious. My sarcasm meter is broken.

Who would have thought, at the beginning of the season, that Evan Turner would actually be the best player involved in that proposed trade?

Serious. Layman's TS% is the second-best on the team. Even if we deal for Hayward, Jake's earned time. If signing Melo means relegating Jake back to third-string again, I'd rather just keep Layman in that spot in the rotation.

Noted. Maybe we can save that 15th spot for a big man to be picked up later in the year.

Agreed--that would make a lot more sense.

No, just no. Carmelo Anthony has been an absolute disaster on the last two teams he's played on. No way do I want him anywhere near our roster or our locker room. We have a good thing going. Why risk it on a high risk, low reward player like Carmelo Anthony? T-Mac was right. Melo should retire.

I'm really torn on Hayward. He'd be a good fit on offense and he has perfect form on his shot so I'm not worried about him regaining his shooting. I think it would kill our defense though. Having Dame, CJ, and Hayward as our perimeter defenders would be bad. I would say that maybe Hayward could come off the bench but Stauskas does a lot of the same things as him on a minimum contract (not saying that Stauskas is anywhere near the player).

I'd probably do the Turner/Leonard trade you suggested. Then sign Melo, fuck it. Despite Turner's play this year I think you have to capitalize on his trade value if a deal presents itself to get a potentially better player or out of his contract.

Hayward always seemed like a great defender in Utah. Wonder if his injury has sapped that ability too.

Let's say the Warriors decide they need to trade Draymond in order to keep Durant. What would his trade value be?

I heard the Celtics passed on some pretty good offers for Rozier this summer. I find it hard to believe they'd just throw him into that trade. Rozier probably wouldn't be happy here either so maybe flip him to a 3rd team like Phoenix and they could give something back to Boston or take on some salary to make Boston's incoming more attractive.

I'd also be interested in what Houston is offering Boston and if we could be a 3rd team there.

I think that was more a product of the team around him as Utah has had several great one on one and team defenders over the years.

Only thing though, I'd have to listen to Calabro call him "Gordy" all year. That would be painful.

He's a DPOY caliber player. I suspect if the Wolves can get Saric/Covington for Butler, I think the Warriors could get something similar.

Can we include Calabro in the trade?

Personally I don't think he's THAT good. I think Golden State has camouflaged a lot of his flaws. But he can be a huge part of a winning team.
