For the life of me I'll never understand why people will advocate for more missed shots.

Also, we know teams would need to get rid of their most expensive seating to do that. It's never going to happen.

I dont want more missed shots, I want more good basketball plays leading to good looks. The idea at least in my mind is if they backed up the 3 point line, the analytics would say to take less 3 point shots, and only have your really good shooters take those shots. It will also spread out the floor, so spacing would be better. I think it would be good overall for the offenses, I think you’d see teams more apt to not be content just jacking up 3’s and it would open up the midrange game.

See I don't think guys will adapt that way.

I believe they'll just learn how to shoot a deeper corner 3. :dunno:

I agree with @BonesJones about widening the court, just not for the same reason.

I HATE those sideline out of bounds calls.

I hate them as well, but I'd just rather the 3-point arc not change out on the wing. Extend the line to 25 ft, and keep it a consistent 25 ft all the way out to the sideline to remove the incentive to try to camp out in the corner for a shorter 3.

Just make the current 3-point shot worth only 2.5 points.

I'd like to see less of the ticky tack touch fouls. Let them be more physical on D.

Why do teams extend RFAs a year in advance while giving them a max? What’s the purpose of this, they cannot leave if you match their accepted offer sheet anyway and there’s literally no benefit I can think of.

I think they need to put an extra ref to observe illegal screens and the league should be very strict about enforcing current rules.

I would also allow more freedom for perimeter defenders...not sure they need to bring the full-on 90's hand check back, but if they do - so be it.

Right now perimeter defenders enjoy zero freedom to defend while defenders in the post can actually defend - so why bother with post plays? there's more risk involved.

When you inbound, you must select either a traditional ball or an ABA tri-color ball. If you select traditional, you can only shoot inside the arc. If you select the ABA ball you can only shoot a trey. Just to make it interesting, if you choose the ABA ball you must also follow the "Mo Lucas memorial rule." IE punching somebody is only punished by a $50 fine.:drinkapint::abeer::no2drugs:

Shucks, make it like the dunk contest. A dunk is worth 1-10 points depending on artistry and degree of difficulty.
