Hornets' rookie Miles Bridges having a monster game - 23 points and 6 rebounds in 27 minutes for a +18 against the Celtics.

@BonesJones and I have loved Bridges for a long time. He’s gonna be a stud.

LeBron hit a 3. Ingram looks like he’s gonna make a leap.

I’m sorry, but it’s just weird to see Bron in the purple and yellow.

The Sydney Kings are pushing the Clippers in Hawaii.

    Sydney 54 - 59 LA @ Halftime

The Kings are getting bigs to switch onto their backcourt duo of Randle (14 @ 46%) and Lisch (10 @ 50%), then they're going 1-on-1. Stretch 4 Kickert is dialed in, shooting 3/3 from downtown.

Maybe they should move into the NBA and ship Doc and the Clips down to that island of criminals!

I just watched the Sixers game from the other night. I have loved Ben Simmons’ game since LSU..... I honesty believe him and Giannis are going to be the two best players in the game VERY soon.

Hopefully they can bring the mid range game back.

Funny thing is and I'm not just trying to spite you but I can't stand either one of their games. They travel so freaking much and get away with it, drives me crazy. They can't shoot and just walk on down the paint every play, I know their good and heck if the refs aren't going to call it than fine, but I cant stand watching those two.

That’s what makes their games THAT much more impressive. They CAN’T shoot, yet they still dominate games.

I wonder if their presence may start a power shift to the Eastern Conference?

Clippers had to play their starters a lot of minutes (for preseason), and bring them back in the 4th to see off the Sydney Kings. Jerome Randle was the best guard out there tonight (25 @ 47%).

Not Ben. No way. They're alike but not close.

He will be. He's less athletic than Giannis (still extremely athletic) but has better vision. They both have dubious shot although Giannis at least tries.

He wont... He's no where near the defender or scorer that Giannis is.

I wasn't necessarily talking scoring. I said one of the best players. His basketball IQ is off the charts and I strongly believe that can make up for his lack of shooting. Reminds me of a 6'11" young Jason Kidd. He can take games over. With that roster he is best setting up people anyway.

i like simmons too, but in reference to the kidd comparison, even as a rookie he was unafraid to shoot the 3. 3 a game as a rook and was counted as good by the end of his career. in today's nba, simmons must develop this skill to keep defenses honest or he will always be in the tier below giannis.
