This team will miss Ed Davis. He had a huge impact in the locker room and on the team bus I promise you. That has nothing to do with what he accomplished on the floor.
I disagree. MVPs are won in the regular season. All Time NBA Stat Leaders are made in the regular seasons. Playoff Seeds are made in the regular season. But more important, entertainment is made in the regular season and the 13 game win streak and Dame's games against Phoenix and LAL were very entertaining.
Entertaining but essentially useless for a team that needs to make a playoff run or have to trade its most important player of the last 20 years. All that matters is the playoffs now. We aren't a lottery team, we aren't a team on the rise. We are at our peak and to flail out like we have negates anything done in the regular season.

Seeding doesn't mean anything if we get swept with homecourt advantage. Look how awesome we did to get the 3rd seed and by far, we had the worst and most embarrassing playoff performance of all teams last season, which should have resulted in coaches and GMs getting fired and the team being overhauled (although it didn't so we are bound to repeat it). The playoff performance we had last year was far more embarrassing and detrimental than missing the playoffs (and the team that did got Michael Porter Jr as a consolation prize). We didn't learn shit, otherwise, Neil Olshey would be on his ass right now. But yeah, lets get hyped up for THAT.
