I would put McDaniels & Melton on that list.
I'm not a fan of Wagner

Luka Doncic down to 5th on lastast mock at nbadraft.net... the top 6-7 pick has some true superstar potential this year... hope Neil is shopping CJ hard to Memphis and Orlando for one of those picks

If Conley is ever healthy, him CJ and Gasol would actually be a pretty good core imo.

And if we trade for #4 and he's gone?

Luka should be the primary target. JJJ would be an excellent concelation prize

The problem I ultimately have with trading CJ for a draft pick is your trading a known commodity for an unknown one (and I don’t mean that to sound like CJ is an object). I just mean CJ has proven he can play in the NBA all the draftees haven’t yet. You really never know which one of those guys will be a bust or if they all will. Of course they could end up to be better than CJ, but if you don’t hit on the draft pick you end hurting yourself in the short term and the long term.

That just goes back to having known mediocre product vs unknown potential greatness... you have to take a gamble to be great... or maybe you like 1st rd exits in playoffs... not to mention CJ is making 25 mil per next season and up to 30 mil his last... that’s way too much money to give a non all star, hand have half the team salary cap committed to a starting backcourt of undersized ISO ball players that don’t play defense

I get it and I’m not opposed to trading CJ for the right deal, If NO trades CJ and drafted one of the guys who turned into a bust we’d all be calling for his job even more than we do now.

Yes , true... but that is only way for chance at greatness... trading for another proven player won’t get you another all star

Why aren't you a fan of Wagner? 6'11, athletic, great shooter, can take his guy off the bounce, solid low post game... He's not going to be a good defender but his game reminds me of a bigger version of Kuzma.

Melton is too small and slight to me, and he's not a true point. I like his all around skills, I just think he'll get pushed around.

I need to watch more on McDaniels.

Nobody is going to trade Luke Doncic for CJ McCollum. If you'd do it as a fan of a team that just got HCA, why would a rebuilding team do it?

Memphis has Conley and Gasol... CJ would make them solid playoff team... Orlando needs a proven leader... they’ve failed year after year with draft picks... don’t know why those teams would say no

But trading him to Memphis we'd have to take on Chandler Parsons making almost as much and would literally give us nothing. So if his contract is the reason to trade him that logic doesn't make sense.

I would easily take back Parsons to get the 4th pick... and for what Blazers need he would contribute as a 3pt shooter that can play 3/4

Was last year's class that great? Tatum's great sure. But the next best player was found at #13.

    Uh, yes?

How is that a knock on the draft class?

Kuzma, Markkanen, Tatum, Mitchell, Smith, Brooks, J. Collins, Z. Collins, Adebeyo, Allen, Bell, Anunoby, Hart, etc... and thats not including the ptoject guys that will be very good players a few years from now like Jackson, Fultz, Isaac, Fox, Ferguson, Kennard, etc.

I think even Ball could be listed here as a could become really good someday. Even though I have strong negative opinions of the Lakers, but his shot is the only part of his game that’s totally broken, but bad shooters have figured out how to get their shot “good enough” before.

Having watched practically no college BBall all year, I finally caught up with watching Trae Young highlights. At last - the new Jason Williams! It would be sinful if he didn't end up on the Suns - maybe if he drops to the Bulls' first pick they can trade both picks and some other choice asset (maybe their unprotected 2019 pick) for the #1 pick.

Two things I like about Young (other than that he's the next Jason Williams, and thus awesome):
    1. He's butt-ugly
    2. He always does a little hop when the guy he just passed to scores. It's adorable!
