Tommy Lloyd. He is great, there's even more foreigners they signed. A big out of Croatia and PG from France who is lightning quick. I attribute just as much of the programs success to Tommy Lloyd as I do Mark Few. His ability to find these guys all over the world that other schools are clueless to are baffling. It all started with Ronny Turiaf.

Hachimura is a legit 6'8" wing, who can play bigger, or smaller if needed. He's the best NBA prospect from a pure tools standpoint that Gonzaga has seen. He has #1 pick type talent. Yet, he's a 6th man and kind of hidden nationally. Kinda like Zach Collins. Mark Few is loyal to his upper classman and wants players to earn their burn.

I swear, every staff needs one of those guys. For us it was Mike Mennega, he was the Canadian connection that basically got us Dillon Brooks and Chris Boucher. How they discovered Boucher in the middle of Wyoming I will never know. But if Mennega hadn't been a fellow Canuck I doubt he would have come. Assistant coaches who's specialty is recruiting seem to be like a secret weapon for a lot of programs. I would never sell Altman short though. He's great in his own right too.

I’ve only watched maybe two Zags games all year but I remember thinking that kid played like a really raw Jabari Parker. Really long smooth strides and obvious athleticism but you could tell he was still learning the game. Do you expect him to break out in the tourney or do you think he will return for another year?

Hard to say. If he has a great tourney run he could go pro. But honestly, he's still learning the english language and is still pretty new to the game of basketball. I could see him coming back another year.

Chimezie Metu reminds me a bit of Kyle Kuzma when he was in college.

To combat Draymond green's groin kicks we draft Metu and his groin punches...

Which one is more like Donovan Mitchell? Deanthony Melton, Rawle Alkins, or Bruce Brown? All have similarities, but i have to go with Brown.

None of those guys are really that close though. At least offensively.

Compared to Mitchell offensively, Brown was close last year. Been coming off am injury and struggling this year but he has the same athletic and offensive ability.

He was also an older freshman (Mitchell is actually only about a month older than Brown) and hasn't shown the same handle, pace+vision+creativity in the pnr, ability to shoot off the dribble or decision making.

The one advantage I'd give Brown would be the ability to elevate and finish off one foot in traffic.

Mitchell didn't really show much in those areas in college.
