That would be hilarious if we just continue drafting from Gonzaga. And GS just keep drafting from Oregon. Portland keeps looking for schools out of state for talent. How Oregon is that?!

Well, Bol Bol is my #1 target next year - and it isn't close!

Btw, my second round targets are literally the same as they were last year:

    Bonzie Colson

    Ethan Happ

Don't know how he we are going to use him. Altman sold him on a being sort of Boucher-type with occasional 3s in his arsenal. But a 7'2'' 3 point shooter? He's got small feet and is super lithesome for being that tall. I think both him and Norris could be stretch 4s if we keep the three guard lineup. But using Bol Bol to shoot threes is pushing it.

    He's nearly a full 7'4" w/shoes.

    I see Porzingis-like potential.

Statistically, maybe not. But he had great footwork, balance and confidence getting into his pull up game and the ability to get low with his handle and create a lot of space with wide and explosive crossovers and quick, decisive step backs and hesitations. Split traps and made skip passes in the pnr and had an impressively low turnover rate for a higher usage offensive player.

I'm a Bruce Brown fan too, just don't agree that he has near the same offensive ceiling as Mitchell.

I mean, you wouldn't have said Mitchell's ceiling is what he's doing now

No. But I did think he had Eric Gordon type offensive potential.

I thought he'd be more of an Avery Bradley type with a little better playmaking which would be really good too.

Either way, he's the exact type of player that ends up getting drafted way too low and ends up great.

If we're all in on Dame/CJ, it'd make sense to trade the pick for talent to help right now ...

What talent could we possibly get for a late first round pick?

Getting someone like Wilson Chandler or Jared Dudley is not going to make this team all that amazing.

Wendell Carter is an interesting prospect at power forward. He will be out of our reach but if we can pull of some sort of package, maybe we can get there (not sure who on our team would have value to move us up though so it's probably a moot point).

This upcoming draft looks absolutely fantastic. I know people were very high on the 2017 class and the consensus was that it'd get weaker in 2018 but it looks like this draft, especially the top 10, could end up being even better (and players from 2017 draft have had great impact so far too).

It's just a shame one of them will go to Orlando and be wasted.

Looking at this draft with the angle that Nurk will get a max offer from some team...

    A Collins/Bamba PF/C duo would be gnarly.

To beat the new smallball movement, you must go BIG.

The key is mobility. Collins and Bamba are both very agile for their size.

The biggest factor - their elite length:

    Bamba: 9'7" reach
    Collins: 9'3" reach

After Doncic, Bamba is my favorite of the projected top-10 picks.

    What say you?

Just curious but is Haas slated to go high in the draft? Man, talk about being born in the wrong decade.

    Undrafted.

He'd be a sure-fire first rounder if this were 1994 though.

I know he hasn’t played but god damn Michael Porter would be a godsend for us. He’d be such a killer small forward, imagine going through into the 2020-21 season with an aged lineup of Dame-CJ-Porter-Collins-Nurk
