You did a GREAT job. Thirty six schools and an FBI investigation is a stat that shifts cancerous death into the NCAA world.
If the NCAA turns semi pro, the Feds will really put their noses and hands into the business. Once a paycheck is issued, plenty of illicit activity over who gets how much, who get minutes, who gets more on a team, who gets injury pay and which sponsors are combined into bowl of controversy.
The only thing you've seen me do ugly is bump them with Mrs HCP, when I forgot it was a nationally televised game.
I love your YouTube channel. I'm a subscriber. I don't always agree with your takes but it's interesting perspective.
Wouldn't expect you to agree with everything! Appreciate it man! Gonna do something for Rip City 3-on-3 and put it up there. Can't wait for that.
I enjoyed your video it put a different perspective on the 4 mins I listened to espn radio this morning! I'll have to check out your future videos you make! Is this what your in college for?
Awesome, you show some talent in what you put out! I haven't taken the classes ( there's two classes ) A friend of mine in NE took a video filming class at the end of the courses you can borrow their equipment when your done. It looks like you all ready have a set up for filming. I'm going to take the course some time this year. I'll let you know how I like it the class. My friend said the course is great for beginners to novice skill level. You look past that level lol! My friend took it for video blogging cooking demos for his business.
There is a video production program at Mt. Hood Comm College...... heard it can turn your life around.
I film with my galaxy S8 it does a solid job. Definitely wish I had a better mic and lighting setup though. That's the next step. Look forward to hearing how it goes! I've done some video stuff in the past and I think I have around 70 videos on my channel, so I've just had practice. The biggest thing for me has been learning how to use voice inflection to my advantage. This video was my first narration, so I have to continue learning how to do those, compared to simply giving my opinion on basketball. Gonna do a lot more narrations this summer.
Wow! I love that specific names came out. We all know this stuff goes on. I wonder what sets the market for the amount of money shelled out to a player. It is so wide spread, I wonder if the NCAA will make players sit? That would cause for an even crazier tournament. Funny story: When I was a basketball team manager in college, one of our assistant coaches mentioned that if we see Sebastian Telfair walking around campus next season, it will cost us $25K...I thought that was relatively cheap.
More schools, more names https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...-specific-with-players-teams-named-in-report/
What kind of morons keep a paper trail and portfolio open to aid in recruiting payoffs? Talk about egomania and stupidity. The first rule of cheating is you don't leave any evidence..... What a shit show.
My guess is they did that to record expenses for IRS filings. They were going to get caught one way or another.
Players go from $15/hr working for Home Depot or whatever (about $30K/year) to $3M/year for a low 1st rounder. That's a 100x increase (not trying to be precise, just ballpark). Totally not surprising there's corruption in the middle. The incentives are completely messed up. Just have the colleges sponsor a local Pro Team (a la Sports Clubs in Europe). These teams could create a new league, and leave the NCAA behind.
