As a good Frenchman, there's always a platter of different cheeses in my fridge.

(But I don't like most of them)

Idk, I googled "different cheese" to check and it came out with an s. Feels weird to me too

Technically they are both acceptable. The word cheese is an unaccountable noun like milk or water. Therefore, the s is unnecessary. It might vary by region, but I use both versions depending on the sentence structure.

What does the # of championships that Gasol has have to do with comparing their games?

Yes. Kind of. If you have a plate of cheddar cheese chunks at a party, you'd refer to them as cheese. You're not talking about a number though, but a quantity.

But if you are talking about more than one type of cheese, they are different cheeses.

If you have a plate of different cheeses, you could refer to it as a plate of cheese, or a plate of cheeses, depending on what it is you are trying to communicate.

In conclusion, Meyers is the biggest cheese ball on the roster ;)

It's probably like "fish". If you have more than one fish OF THE SAME KIND, then you have several fish. If you have a MIXTURE of types of fish, then you have several fishes. (It's true, I shit you not.)
So I have a lot of cheddar cheese, but also because I have Cheddar (real cheddar, from Somerset or Devon), Brie, Roquefort, Stilton and Feta, I have several cheeses.

What we do if we didn't work out these complicated problems? Talk to our spouse? (Mom for some)

All of this would have fit perfectly in the Melo trade thread.
