Babbitt was chubbier and more of a stretch 4. Windler closer to Doug McDermott

We need a second because we’re gonna struggle to fill out the roster once we lose curry, Hood, kanter and Aminu lol

Some of NBA people has Bazley go as high as 15.

I was on the Bazley hype train... but there is a lot of risk with him.

My first priority would be Chuma. I still think he's ideal at #25

These are NBA moves. First step is lethal and he tries to dunk everything. All legs, all arms

Thing is these are highlights. No one is saying Okpala can't do it. The questions seem to be about his motor and why he doesn't do it more often with his obvious gifts.

Someone who can do so knowledgeably... compare and contrast Okpala with Siakam. Am I way off here?

at #25 in this draft, not sure we can hope for more. I think he's a rotational player in the NBA in 2-3 yrs. All the tools are there

KZ seems more perimeter based, but yes the first step and spin-- really similar

I can't think of many stretch 4s with this kind of handle ...

He might be. I wouldn't be devastated if he ended up a Blazer. There just are players I like even more who might be there or almost certainly will be there. Obviously, Bazley is my guy, although he has a lot of helium right now. But if Baz and KZ both were available at 25 and the Blazers don't trade down, I would take Bazley every time. Just my preference. More upside. Better prospect coming out of HS.

He interests me - I notice that when I first asked about him about a month ago he was middle second-round on NBADraft.net (it's no DraftExpress, but it's free), but now he's at 24! Meanwhile Grant Williams has moved way in the opposite direction.

We knew nothing about Simons either. Sometimes talent is obvious, and it’s not like teams just start scouting players when they hit college. He was a top 20 recruit.

I think another thing to keep in mind is last year when Olshey gave his post draft press conference, he talked about how at the bottom half of the first you’re looking for upside/ceiling. What was interesting about that comment was the year before he took Biggie, the antithesis of that philosophy. I think he learned from his mistake, and if we stick at 25, look for him to take another high upside guy.
