    Wasnt thinking of him.

Kind of strange but I thought Swanigan was going to be ok in the NBA and then it was easy to spot right off the bat he was just really slow... Now he may find ways to over come it and I hope he does.

It was easy to spot in college. When we drafted him I literally said "NOOOOO" at my TV.

He wasnt the guy I wanted them to pick, I was a Jordan Bell guy, but honestly Im not sure Bell is all good either. Kuzma, though I think he’s a tad overrated was the guy.

    We need Jarrett Culver.

There's no way he falls outside the top 10.

But yes, he'd be a great fit with Dame. He's like a play making SG version of Tatum with more of a role player mindset.

Yup. The fact that he may me 6'8 instead of his listed 6'6 is intriguing. Great passer.

If Miami missed the playoffs, I'd love to try something like this:

POR Gets: Nance, Richardson, Culver (2019 MIA Pick)
MIA Gets: McCollum, 2019 POR 1st
    CLE Gets: J. Johnson, 2020 POR 1st

Questionable le whether either team does it but I really like a Lillard / Richardson / Culver / Nance / Nurkic lineup.

Yeah I don't think Miami does that or do I see Culver falling that much, assuming Miami's pick falls somewhere in mid first / late lottery.

And I find the Culver height rumors funny. He's pretty clearly 6'6.5" at best. He has grown a bit since his freshman season so maybe he's still growing, but I have a hard time factoring in that sort of speculation into how I evaluate him.

He looked a little shorter than Barrett when they played and he's 6'7".

We'll know for sure in a few months though.

It's always interesting when the pre draft measurements come out as nearly every player is at least an inch or two shorter than they claim and even some will be more.

I was playing 2k and I downloaded a draft class and there was this dude named luguentz dort, who is obviously a made up name, except apparently he actually exists.

    Cool story.

Let me preface this by confessing I really don't follow Euroball. I am throwing myself on the mercy of my better informed fellow posters. I've heard these names tossed around on various mock draft sites and was hoping folks here had some opinions on them to share. Thanks!

    Goga Bitadze
    Luka Samanic
    Sekou Doumboya
    Deividas Sirvydis
    Stella Azzurra

Dude's built like a brick shit-house... he's been a BEAST in the couple of games I've seen. Reminded me of Marcus Smart, quite a bit.

Doumbouya is a lock for the first, and will most likely be in the lottery, maybe top 10? Sirvydis is a fairly safe prospect as far as euros are concerned. Should be a first rounder. He fits Portland. Samanic could be a late riser after workouts imo. Haven’t seen Bitadze and have no clue who Azzurra is, but that first name makes me think it’s not even a real person lol.

Have watched a couple full games of both Goga and Sekou and a little of Sirvydis.

Goga is probably my favorite of the 3. He has some issues defensively and his a little bit of question mark as far as a personality but his size / skill level combo is pretty unique and you gotta love the production at his age. Killing it in the Euroleague at 19.

Sekou is all potential right now. More fluid than explosive and still learning how to play. Questionable shooter and decision maker. I can see a Siakam/Aminu type it he really works but he's got a long way to go. Still really young and was starting to play better before he got hurt though.

Srvydis doesn't look phsically ready and not the most fluid or explosive athlete but knows how to play and has some versatility to his game. More than a shooter I think but it's hard to tell how much of what he does works at the NBA level at this point.

Stella Azzurra means Blue Star. It's an italian team name.
