I'd rather be a top defensive player where I am able to dish out the hits rather than taking them. :biglaugh:

I enjoyed watching the Raiders when they had Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson. So much talent with both of those guys!

I enjoy the highlights, but I was a mere twinkle in the eye of my dad then.

Haha. Bo Jackson was like a god to many of us youngsters at that time. Hell, he was practically unstoppable on the very first NES Tecmo Bowl Game!

    Tecmo Bo was a legend!!!

LMAO I have the NES Classic with Tecmo Bowl on it and always use the Raiders because of him.

There are still a couple decent safeties on the board and the 49ers pick 2nd tomorrow. I'd like Thompson from Alabama.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I'm a big fan of the Hurd pick. He's a real upside gamble--his physical tools are first-round caliber, but he only has one season as a wide receiver, he was a running back before that. If Shanahan is sold on him translating long-term, I'm excited by his potential. Plus, with running back experience, he can be used as the "moveable chess piece" type of player, where you could put him at any of the receiver spots or in the backfield. Hell, at his size, you could put him in at tight end.

After they bypassed Adderley and Thornhill (after also apparently not even bidding on Earl Thomas or any of the other major free agent free safeties), my thinking is that the 49ers really are content with their in-house options. Adrian Colbert looked really good as a rookie and has tremendous tools--but he made the wrong reads in year 2, in addition to missing time to injury. If they can coach him up, I can imagine him being a good single high safety.

Well they obviously wanted to address the receiver situation and used a 2nd and 3rd round pick. I don't know if that necessarily means they are happy with their current safety crop though. You could be right or they could've liked someone likely to be still on the board later on.

It's too early in the morning for this shit...

Umm I'm gonna say this and I'm honestly not gonna give a fuck what anyone thinks.

    Fuck Nick Bosa.

It's one thing to support this racist president.

It's a complete other thing to be supportive of that piece of shit Dillon Roof and talk shit about dating black people.

I hope Nick Bosa's RACIST ASS injures himself in opening day.
