Simons has to show me can play defense there know doubt he can score so that what I will be watching this summer if he going to try to play some type of D. I know summer league and I no one plays D but it might give me confidence for next year.

I think Trent can get a shot off whenever he wants, inside or outside. He has a game similar to VanVleet from the Raptors. IMO

Not so sure I agree. There is often pretty good D played....by the guys who can't score. They are out there hustling and hacking away trying to be noticed. To me it is the offense that is frustrating to watch in summer league.

Trent is much taller and a sg but they both play off the dribble and like to shoot. Decent defenders too.

Simons+Little together? We win the best athletes on the court award.

I hate Trent as a player.
    I’d rather have WB4.

Trent is definitely a guy who could be playing in the g-league very soon. But with our wings? Maybe he gets some run next season, someone has to stretch the floor.

So Trent can't improve? We do like to make quick decisions on young players.

I don't get all the Trent dislike. He's a whole five months younger than Ant. Probably his talent at being able to get his shot almost all the time has been his biggest liability; he doesn't know that a shot isn't good just because you can create it. But he's still really young and can learn, and if he figures that out, he's going to be a major asset to this team as a shooter or a trade chip.

Every young player needs to work on something. Some need to work on their shot. Trent is not one of those. He has other areas to work on. But one year does not tell us anything on 19-20 year olds

Not so much dislike as disappointment. For a kid who played at a top college program, he didn't show great court awareness or particularly good fundamentals. It was reasonable to expect that Simons might have more raw talent, but that Trent would have the more refined game.
