Kamala Harris' dad says parents are 'turning in their grave' over her comments on weed and being Jamaican: report By Nicole Darrah | Fox News Kamala Harris says she listened to Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur in college, yet their albums came out after she graduated Sen. Kamala Harris may have made some inaccurate comments about smoking weed in college while listening to Snoop Dogg and Tupac. The 2020 Democratic presidential contender told New York radio hosts she listened to the rappers in college, but both artists hadn’t appeared on an album by the time she finished school. The father of Sen. Kamala Harris is trying to distance himself from the 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful after she said her pot smoking in college stemmed from her Jamaican heritage. Harris, D-Calif., told the nationally syndicated radio show "The Breakfast Club" earlier this month that she supports marijuana legalization at the federal level, and acknowledged that she's smoked pot in the past, saying: “I have. And I inhaled. I did inhale.” KAMALA HARRIS, PUSHING LEGAL MARIJUANA, SAYS SHE SMOKED POT IN COLLEGE: 'AND I INHALED' The senator re-emphasized her use when asked by the hosts about rumors that she opposes marijuana legalization. “That’s not true. Look, I joke about it, I have joked about it. Half my family is from Jamaica, are you kidding me?” Harris said, laughing. Harris' father, Donald, disapproved of the comments, which he told the Jamaica Global Online constituted "identity politics." "My dear departed grandmothers ... as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics," he said Donald Harris continued: "Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty.” The senator told the radio program: “We need to research the impact of weed on a developing brain” and said measuring how marijuana impairs people who are driving needs to be addressed." Harris supports a bill — introduced Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, a rival for the Democratic presidential nomination — that would end the federal marijuana prohibition. Fox News' Paul Steinhauser contributed to this report.
I’ll vote for Tulsi Gabbard if her fellow Dems don’t smear her to death before the generals. Lol. I remember Trump catching a lot of shit for supposedly disrespecting a military family awhile back. All the news outlets that pushed that story now have no problem shamelessly smearing a veteran who served two tours in Iraq. And why? Because she speaks out against war and interventionism. Can’t have dangerous ideas like that presented on “liberal” MSNBC, with their military defense contractor-sponsored content. We’ll return right after this message from Boeing.
Boeing is a great company. I used to work there. It's got a few jerks but every big company has jerks. One lead engineer wanted me to falsify my time card showing that I worked on projects that I never worked on. I turned him down immediately. I encountered more with my kind of ethics.
People say the same thing about Exxon Mobil and Halliburton. Being a great job for an employee doesn’t change a company’s ethics or agenda.
I haven't worked at those other companies so I don't know. I know about Boeing. The job I had before Boeing was a defense contractor who cheated regularly. It was my first defense job and I knew nothing about how to fill out a time card. My boss and his boss would tell me what to fill in and like a dumb bunny that's what I did. After I left that job my two bosses got caught by the government and they lost all their benefits. Then, I left and went to Boeing. The first thing they did was teach me the ethical way to fill out my time card charging my labor to exactly the right charge accounts. Boeing didn't fool around with that. After leaving the military side of Boeing, I went to work on jumbo jets. A really dedicated hard working groups of engineers, technicians and factory workers. All the time that I worked at Boeing, I only saw one unethical employee and that was that jerk lead engineer, Ken, whom nobody wanted to work with. Nope, my experience is contrary to your projection of them. Perhaps you thought I worked with nobodys. No, I was in on some top projects, the Peacekeeper, aka MX, missile, SRAM II (a cruise missile), Rail Garrison (a project to base 50 Peacekeeper missiles on military railroad trains), the V-22 Osprey and the Minuteman missile. I got to participate in some top meetings. After leaving the military side of things and going to jumbo jets I was in on meetings with top brass to improve producability of Boeing's three jumbo jets at the time, the 747, 767 and 777. So, I got around. One boss who I soft line reported to left Boeing and went on the head the design of the national defense of Saudia Arabia just prior to the first Gulf War. There was no hanky panky that I saw or heard about. Was there any hanky panky at Boeing? Obviously, Ken was committing a felony. I should have turned him in but he talked to me in private and it would have been my word against his. Still, I should have turned him in even though it would have been nothign but heart ache for me. Perhaps some heartache for Ken, which is why I regret not doing it.
I was at the Mukateo plant when they just finished the first 777. That building is spectacular and if someone is looking for a good day tripper go up to Everett and take in Boeings Wide Body plant. Its free!!! They put you on a bus and give you a great tour then out to the runway where they have all the purchased planes lined up waiting for the buyers to come and take delivery. There were maybe 7-8 when I was there. I was told its largest building in the world by volume. You could actually eat off the floor its so clean. Id love to see the socialist Cortez go up there and take the tour and get a feel for real Americana...
he will cuck out at the end to the DNC. he can not recover from just taking it in the 2016 primaries. Probably gonna be Biden + Harris or something like that. Harris has too many iffy issues to be the primary candidate.
