Right now, I think the main contenders are Biden, Harris and Sanders. Buttigieg and O'Rourke are two guys below that tier that I could imagine catching fire and winning the nomination, like Bill Clinton in 1992 or Barack Obama in 2008. If I had to put money on one politician, it'd be Harris, but I definitely wouldn't pick her over the field.
What a stupid fucking post... Independent 2013 Survey Shows Veterans Highly Satisfied with VA Care April 16, 2014 Independent 2013 Survey Shows Veterans Highly Satisfied with VA Care Higher rating than Private-Sector Hospitals on Average WASHINGTON -- The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), an independent customer service survey, ranks the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) customer satisfaction among Veteran patients among the best in the nation and equal to or better than ratings for private sector hospitals. The 2013 ACSI report assessed satisfaction among Veterans who have recently been patients of VA’s Veterans Health Administration (VHA) inpatient and outpatient services. ACSI is the nation’s only cross-industry measure of customer satisfaction, providing benchmarking between the public and private sectors. In 2013, the overall ACSI satisfaction index for VA was 84 for inpatient care and 82 for outpatient care, which compares favorably with the U.S. hospital industry (scores of 80 and 83, respectively). Since 2004, the ACSI survey has consistently shown that Veterans give VA hospitals and clinics a higher customer satisfaction score, on average, than patients give private sector hospitals. These overall scores are based on specific feedback on customer expectations, perceived value and quality, responsiveness to customer complaints, and customer loyalty. One signature finding for 2013 is the continuing high degree of loyalty to VA among Veterans, with a score of 93 percent favorable. This score has remained high (above 90 percent) for the past ten years. “Every day, our dedicated VA employees, many of whom are Veterans themselves, strive to provide millions of Veterans with the excellent care they have earned and deserve,” said Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric K. Shinseki. “Our Nation’s Veterans deserve the best care, and the ACSI survey results help us better understand how Veterans feel about their overall health care experience at VA. There is always more work to do, and we are focused on continuous improvement to the care we provide.” Additionally, Veterans strongly endorsed VA health care, with 91 percent offering positive assessments of inpatient care and 92 percent for outpatient care. When asked if they would use a VA medical center the next time they need inpatient care or outpatient care, Veterans overwhelmingly indicated they would (96 and 95 percent, respectively). Veterans also responded positively to questions related to customer service for both VA inpatient care (92 percent favorable) and outpatient care (91 percent). Medical providers and appointment personnel were considered highly courteous with scores of 92 and 91, respectively. Additionally, VA medical providers ranked high in professionalism (90 percent positive). “VA’s strategy of providing a personalized, proactive, patient-driven approach to health care is positively impacting Veterans’ experiences at our 1700 sites of care nationwide,” said Dr. Robert A. Petzel, VA’s Under Secretary for Health. “We are transitioning to a health service focused on Veterans’ personal health care goals, and this is reflected in the ACSI score.” With over eight million Veterans enrolled, VA operates the largest integrated health care delivery system in the United States. Our mission is to honor America's Veterans by providing exceptional health care that improves their health and well-being. VA provides a broad range of primary care, specialized care, and related medical and social support services. VA provided 89.7 million outpatient visits last fiscal year. VA has 236,000 health care appointments per day.
I can attest to that survey. I'm up at the VA hospital about four days a week. I was just up there today for an operation. I've been going there for 50 years getting help from virtually every department there and several of them multiple times. They used to be disgraceful and now they are the best around. They get their eye doctors from the world famous Casey Eye Institute, they have the best cardiologists in the Pacific North West, they have superb endocrinologists, their dental care is every bit as good and even a little better than the expensive dentist in the Sylvan Heights that my wife sees. Their blood draw lab is superb. I've gotten emergency room care followed by stays in Intensive Care at both the VA and OHSU and the VA is every bit as good. Had excellent vascular surgery today. Most VA doctors here are part time working most of their time over at OHSU. When I was in Intensive Care at OHSU, my VA primary care doctor came to see me because he spends most of his work time at OHSU. I can't think of a single department at the Portland VA I haven't had extensive experience with. Perhaps the least experience was at their mental health clinic where I was evaluated for a potential transplant candidate. It was there they diagnosed me with PTSD. I used to complain about the VA care vociferously and now I brag about it. Oh, I do have a complaint, their transportation department sucks big time. They have a bus service called Veterans Transportation Service (VTS) and it takes me about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours to get to my house which is about 1/2 hour away. The highest manager of that department needs to be fired.
Gropin' Joe Biden endorsed by Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti after launching 2020 bid: 'He has my enthusiastic support'
Trey Gowdy: 'President Eric Swalwell, that ought to scare the ever-living hell out of you' By Victor Garcia | Fox News Gowdy: Purpose of justice system is fairness, not transparency Former congressman Trey Gowdy blasted 2020 presidential candidate Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., Friday for continuing to claim that President Trump is a Russian asset. "President Eric Swalwell, that ought to scare the ever-living hell out of you," Gowdy told "The Story with Martha MacCallum" while reacting to a clip of Swalwell on MSNBC. ERIC SWALWELL CONTINUES TO REFUSE TO ANSWER TRUMP 'RUSSIAN ASSET' QUESTION The Mueller report published last month revealed that investigators did not establish evidence that the Trump campaign had conspired with Russia. Swalwell seems to think otherwise. "Here's what we know. The Russians helped Donald Trump," Swalwell said Wednesday on MSNBC's "The Beat with Ari Melber." "Sure, but to be clear you are no longer maintaining that he is effectively a 'Russian asset,'" MSNBC host Ari Melber interjected. "No, I think he acts on Russia's behalf and I challenge him to show me otherwise," Swalwell responded. Gowdy accused Swalwell of playing politics. "His last sentence is exactly the difference between a prosecutor and a politician. Prosecutors prove that you did something, politicians make you prove you did not. Did you hear his last sentence? 'I challenge President Trump to prove that he did not do something.' That's what politicians do," Gowdy said. Swalwell, who has long been a critic of the president, announced he was running for president earlier this month.
Being endorsed by creepy people was glorified to a new and higher level by Trump. Would you like to know who David Duke endorsed?
Trey Gowdy, the very living epitome of intelligence. Trump said that Gowdy had "failed miserably on Benghazi".
Biden and Booker as VP. Since these guys are from Delaware and my backwoods they know how to avoid typical corruption and eliminate embarrassing tweeting.
Lan....In this country the general public would not vote for him because his name is odd. That is a shame.
"Independent 2013 Survey Shows..." Hey dviss1, 2013 called. They want their now non-relevant pop survey back. 20 veterans per day commit suicide due to inadequate medical care from the VA, but wouldn't expect you to know a fucking thing about it in your bubble.
Another rigged "poll" from disgraced anti-Trump fake news smear outlets abc/post, presented by Ryan StruykVerified account @ryanstruyk I work for @CNN. Any approval rating above 50% is worthless as 50% of any population is dumber than average, and even the average person in America has little to no understanding of our government, how it works, who to blame when it doesn't work, or how polls are constructed to get a pre-determined response. Only the top 38% of any given population has adequate mental skills to accomplish rational thought from the facts and evidence presented to them.
I'll assume not all VA facilities are as good as Portland. I've been to the ones in La Jolla, Tuscon and Fort Rilea and they were great. Late this summer I'll go to Birmingham to visit my family. They won't let me get my three treatments a week there but they will treat me for anything else so we'll see how good they are.
