I'm going to disagree with you on a technicality. The initiative is the more probable solution but the Constitutional change going from the Electoral College to a popular vote is the more direct solution.
Exactly and the way all of the other positions are filled state wide and nationally. Governors, senators, house reps etc are all elected by the popular vote. President is the only one that is elected by an electoral college. I agree 1 person, 1 vote.
I haven't been paying all that much attention, but is Biden pretty much out of it now? (realistically speaking...)
I would ask how you expect to get 3/4 of the states to ratify this, but don't imagine you have a clue.
out of what? You can easily do a search rather than expect others to do your research. I suggest you give it a shot, but I suspect what you will find isn't even remotely close to what you posted.
Out of his fucking mind? Yes. Out of the race. No, he’ll probably win. Especially if the DNC plays their usual games.
I think he's about a dozen points ahead of Trump. If Biden is no longer in the picture what does that say about Trump? Ouch.
Well, Trump had no chance of beating Hillary up until the final hour, so what does that say? You tell me.
It says that either the Democrats will have to gain more than 3 Million more votes than Trum or hope for a better distribution of votes among the purple states. Hillary had less than a 6 point lead over Trump not the 12 point lead that Biden has. Also, several things had to have some extraordinary luck for Trump to win in the Electoral College. Chances of Trump winning again? Less than minuscule. But you hang on to that dream. Just don't say I didn't warn you.
Don’t be so sure of that, Lanny. It’s closer than you think because of that pesky Electoral College thingie. https://www.270towin.com/2020-election-forecast-predictions/
Yes, I thought I've been conveying that clearly for quite some time. Surprised that you are just now realizing this.
