Yeah if you end up with a Matt Barnes type player from that pick you have done a world of good for the team.

Nurk was out for most of two seasons...you saw really rusty Nurk playing with guys he rarely practiced with ....the better example is the season Nurk had with Chief next to him who also boosted Nurk's scoring but whatever....Nurk is better than anyone saw in last seasons short sample size and Chauncey wants him to get more involved in the offense

Olshey sucks but I sure don't see any reason to criticize him for what he did yesterday. He had 2 nearly free rolls of the dice. No risk, possible reward. A GM should do that every year. Should have a regular rotation at the top of the roster and a speculative rotation at the bottom of the roster. And cycle thru those speculative players every season or two

at least yesterday he didn't invest in any more 6'3 guards

    I had Alperen Sengun
Josh Gidddey and Chris Duarte high on my want list.

    Defensive beasts.
    Usman Garuba
    Isaiah Jackson

    Trey Murphy

Just so I can look back and see how far off I was later.

Or maybe we just need to face up to the possibility that expectations for Nurk were too high.

Depends on what time we hit the bar for the first round of whatever they have on draft.

Lakers should have taken Buddy over Westbrick. RW shoots 40% fg and under 30 from three.
Plus look at the money they have to pay that dude. RP may have pulled a huge blunder if you ask me.

If KD was the player he was before the Achilles injury, I'd agree. I think it's pretty close right now. I think that both franchises are going all in on guys who are older and injury-prone. Maybe the better question is which of the two Big 3s is likely to still be intact by the start of the playoffs next season?

Prob neither one, but Id go with Nets. Davis no question will be hurt just dont know how bad. James isnt getting any younger and he too will have nagging injuries.

if jokubaitis is an obsessive compulsion to make bad jokes, we all have it around here....I think Sly is terminal though
