    14-15 5th
    15-16 2nd
    16-17 4th
17-18 24th (what happened here LOL)

    Then Milwaukee
    18-19 1st
    19-20 1st
    20-21 9th

So as lead defensive coordinator, his teams have missed the top 10, 1 out of 7 years. He has played with Chauncey, so they probably have a relationship. Double or triple his salary and get him here for a year until he becomes a head coach next season

How could they possibly say the same things about Bud as Stotts

Bud is something like 150-60 (W-L) as a head coach with the Bucks. Never missed the playoffs and never out in the first round. (Much less swept by a lower ranked team.)

Bud doesn’t have atrocious defensive teams.

Bud has had 3 years. Not 10. And was about to get canned without a championship for his lack of offensive adjustments. Says a lot about how Stotts had 10 years and didn’t get canned.

I wonder if the Booker Suns will ever make it back to the Finals. I'm betting not. They may even get better, but other teams in the conference will get better yet.

Of course, the Bucks might not either - they've got the Nets in their conference.

    Good info!

Did Atlanta drop off big time in 18-19? What did the Bucks look like in 17-18? Also curious to why they took a dip this year, I wouldn't have guessed that.

    You might have a point!

I agree, that betting the Suns make it back to the finals with Booker as their best player would not be wise. A scorer who doesn't impact the game in a ton of other ways is something we've seen is unlikely to translate into a leader of a dynasty.

I'm not saying they're the same coach or Stotts is as good as Bud, I'm saying the fan complaints are very similar. Not just Stotts and Bud, but similar to the complaints fans have about their coaches.

April 16, 2014 marked the beginning of a new era for the NBA franchise as ownership transferred from Senator Kohl to a new group headed by entrepreneurs Marc Lasry and Wes Edens. Shortly thereafter, Jamie Dinan and Mike Fascitelli joined as majority owners, and an impressive assemblage of Milwaukee community leaders also took an ownership state to infuse the team and city with a new vitality driven by the promise of a next-generation team that remains true to the spirit of Milwaukee.

One fanbases gripes were justified. The others were not.

What's tougher for the Suns right now is Paul is gonna make $44.2 million next year.

That would have been a lot more palatable if they won the title. Lol
