I’m putting this in the main forum since Dame was practically a lock to be on the roster. He was going to be the first Blazer to make an Olympic team since Clyde. Melo had probably been in his ear telling him what a great experience it is.

It’s on my bucket list to attend the Summer Olympics in another country. Maybe 2024 in Paris

My life has been wasted. I've been throwing this javelin spear around in the back yard for 8 years, and now this.

This skill could still be useful in your quest to find Bigfoot in Bellingham

Steve Smith was on the 2000 gold medal team while on the Blazers.

RING OF STEEL
Sex ban put in place at Tokyo Olympics in coronavirus spread crackdown along with handshake, hugging and NO singing

  • Support athletes by clapping and not singing or chanting
  • Avoid unnecessary forms of physical contact such as hugs, high-fives and handshakes
  • Keep physical interactions with others to a minimum
  • Keep two metres distance from athletes and at least one metre from others, including in operational spaces
  • Use Games transport systems. Do not use public transport unless given permission
  • Wear a face mask at all times, unless outside and two metres away from others
  • Avoid enclosed spaces and crowds where possible
  • Do not visit tourist areas, shops, restaurants or bars, gyms etc

Wow, poll results heavily in favor of summer olympics. I assume that's probably due to American dominance in the summer olympics, or maybe because basketball is available and other team sports. Gymnastics is always a crowd pleaser. I picked winter olympics primarily because of Hockey. There is more competition internationally for Hockey vs. basketball. The medal race is always a bit more dynamic. Also, you still have all the figure skating, speed skating, and skiing events. But I like both of them.

I'm glad you like them, and I don't want to change your mind, but....
imho, judged sports suck even more than highly refereed sports. So, I'm not a fan of skating, and the networks HIGHLIGHT skating.

best player out of Australia ever.......Shane Heal!!!! That dude was tough as nails!

Negatory......Heal took on the Dream Team all by himself and lit them up! Squared off with Barkley, he was a beast!

Move the games to Oregon and limit the fans. They can play soccer and basketball in Portland, Gymnastics in Corvallis, Track and Field in Eugene.
How big is the pool at the Mac club?
