He's clearly hurt. This is how he performed last season fighting thru the ab injury. He has to let himself heal. Just has to heal . Get Keon back STAT.

I’ve actually posted in more win threads than loss threads. I haven’t posted in a game thread since the New Orleans game, which we won. Not sure what you’re referring to, but I’m sorry I triggered something in you nonetheless

Nurkic has really been under-used on offense in the last couple games.
It looked like last season Billups had figured out how important Nurk could but I guess that was just a fluke.

I get that people can get wrapped up in a game and come to an emotional boil. But if you're going to get rabid and vent spleen and venom, maybe just shoot it at the wall instead of sharing it here

Simons is getting on my nerves lately. If his shot isn’t falling he’s just undersized guard wasting minutes.

I could very well see if we go on a decent losing skid, Chauncey starting Sharpe over him.

Today was maybe the first time I saw Billups draw something up for him out of a timeout.

I don’t have faith that Nurk won’t make a dumb decision or cause silly turnovers.

Amazing overreaction from most here tonight... look at the box scores! We (Trail Blazers for those anal about saying "we") lost the game once again while having

    + 0.8 FG%
    + 1 Rebound
    +4 Assist
    +4 Blocks
    +5 Steals

    Now on the other end...

    - 4.9% 3pt.
    - 4 turnovers

Bottom line is the shot selection for many of the 3 pta was bad when it is not falling, especially in the second half. Combine that with the habitual turnovers makes for a long night.

What I see with the eye test, and the box score backs it up to a degree, is our (Trail Blazers) willingness to keep shooting the 3 when it isn't falling and not playing to the team strength of attacking the basket.

Trail Blazers have played over 12% of this season and the last 4 games have not been pretty. I still believe in CB as a coach and the roster as it is, however, personally, I am starting to think the pairing of Dame and Anf in the backcourt will not be a benefit to the team.

Just couldn't get the shots to fall.

Impressed with the fight to get back into despite being utterly woeful beyond the arc.

Seriously they were all over him last night. It was amazed watching exactly how much they were coaching him.

This is another player that i think people need to watch live. He is very raw. Great player absolutely. He is going to be very good. However watching last night from the sidelines he was essentially asking where to go on most every possession. I think some of it was him running over what he knows but he was at times extremely hesitant about where he was supposed to be and when.

The way i read that is Somehow a "Spirit Transference" happened during the Nets game while Simmons was guarding Lillard.
Now Ben Simmons will have the will to fight through nagging injuries and tough night to show everyone that he is truly an All-Star level player.
    AND
Now Damian Lillard will be so mentally weak that a bad shooting night will essentially make him irrelevant for the rest of the season. Teams now will be able to guard the Blazers 5 on 4 and leave lillard wide open at the 3 point line while he either bricks every shot or tries to force passes to other players. His Free throw shooting will suffer as well so no need for him to try to draw fouls. This will also essentailly force him to leave the Blazers and take a complete season off to "Get Right" for the team he decides to go to (The Lakers for Russ). Of course Durant will also find a way onto the Lakers as well.

I think our time atop the West has come to an end at least until next season.

I mean now with a single real ball handler, ok Justise is sort of one also, the team is in trouble. No perimeter threats. Only Ant and Grant are worth guarding on the perimeter. Sharpe doesn't get any touches for some reason, what 4 shots last nighte? Do I have that right??

You let anyone else spot up and take threes all night. This is not a great shooting team. Clog up the paint and force Portland to shoot. Where is Portland's "Clarkson"? There is not a single cold blooded assassin on the team that. There's an over abundance of mid-sized utility players: Nas, Hart, Winslow, GP2, Keon but nobody that can fucking shoot. What I wouldn't give for Clarkson...

Jordan Clarkson is a career 34% shooter from 3. Portland is the 5th ranked team in 3pt% this season. As a team shooting better than Clarkson this season. But yes, why don't we have Clarkson, and why can we not shoot?!?!

But he broke the game wide open and won it. He can shoot. The important fact remains: the offense sucks.
