he is seriously trolling obnoxiously though…
    And doesn't seem to care.
ive got him on mental ignore these days. No conversation to be had. He is constantly spouting outlandish takes to try to get a rise out of people. That's grade a 101 trolling. Supposed to not be accepted here.
I skip past, but also see many people are becoming more annoyed with it, it seems.
If they guy wants half the forum to put him on ignore, by all means he will stay the troll course, but i doubt it because the need for attention is glaring, so something will come to a head.
But yeah. Best thing is to just ignore the trolls.

There is a small difference though? He is trolling and calling @THE HCP out while doing it.
His trolling doesn’t bother me but he isn’t tagging me in his posts calling HOF players trash and saying the Blazers will beat all teams that are obviously better.
The Blazers won last night. It was a great effort and they pulled off an improbable win but let’s look at it realistically. They needed OT and 41 points from dame to get that win at home in the opener. The Suns were the better team on the court and would win a 7 games series right now. Most of us know this. Now can the Blazers continue to improve. Absolutely. Long season ahead of us.
I’m going to enjoy watching this team.

    Didn't shoot well....
WAY too many turnovers in the 1st half.....
.....and yet somehow found a way to scrap out a win.

Like the effort and like that they are pushing the action. Now just smooth out some of those rough edges.

The only asterisk i would put on this is that pheonix is well oiled machine. We just came out of the package and havent completed the assembly yet. i would say phoenix is who they are. But we are not yet who we are.

I think we have more opportunity and range for improvement than most contending teams( not yet saying we are a contender) that have had thier core for a while.
Our games will improve simply by continuing to gel.
You know what they say about that first long road trip. Teams come together more.

While my expectations are tempered, My hopes are sky high!

He had a rough first season for sure. Playing behind Eddie Jones if I’m not mistaken.

How did Kobe get into this. Are you claiming that Sharpe is the next Kobe?

Just the lay ups missed would have made this easier. They also had no answer for Ayton. Cannot for the life of figure out why Monty didn't just go to him every time?

Same way Brandon Jennings got into it.

I'm saying that making ANY declarations based on a single game is dumb. If you look at Kobe's first 10 games, you'd think he'd be a bum.

I know you like to say things just to be against what some people say, but even you can't deny that there's something good about how Sharpe is playing and performs. I mean, you thought he'd barely sniff any playing time and the coach already has him one of the earliest guys off the bench.

All good. Im just giving ya shit. Your takes are usually alot more rational than some.
Im all in on this kid though. I think he is in a really good situation with a generational leader in Dame and a hustle/defensive minded coach in Billups. Perfect surrounding to groom him.

I think this surprised many and has also been a welcome surprise.
Seriously he is one of the reasons I'm tuning in. When he comes in the game i watch what he does.

Eubanks minutes in 2nd half we’re extremely valuable. He may not be the most talented but no one can question his effort. Can’t wait to see what GP II brings to this team.

btw Nurk has to quit switching on the screen you show and fall back to your man

That, my fine sir, is an inaccurate statement.

I have 59 predictions made by you.
    9 as HispanicCausinPanic
    50 as "THE" HCP

Granted they were all back in either 2008-2009 or 2009-2010 but you HAVE made predictions.

Me too (on both accounts). He's exciting, and fun to watch. He'll make mistakes, be out of position, but you can see he learns and adapts as he plays. I'm sure he'll look significantly better by the end this (calendar) year, and by the end of the season he'll look significantly better too.

I don't know if he'll be a superstar, but he has most of the tools to be a very solid pro. He already has a decent muscle base, he seems to be a willing learner, athletic, good reach and good form on his shot/selection.

It doesn't appear that he's intimidated out there and clearly the team (coaches, players) have confidence in him.

Could he be a Kobe Bryant LIKE player? Sure. Could also be a Booker type player, or a Roy type player, or a 15 ppg type scorer. It's a big unknown. But he looks so effortless out there, that it's hard not to get excited about things.
