I liked them a lot more than I thought I would....and now they're Dame's 41 pt game jerseys...so maybe lucky uni for Dame!

Maybe with their toughness and fire. But I never felt comfortable with Wes attacking the basket. Hart is more athletic IMO and
can dribble the length of the court and finish. Wes was a great 3 pt shooter for us though.

Hart is a much better ball handler than Wes. I can't see Wes playing backup PG like Hart does sometimes.

Agree on your assessment. Hart is the far superior player. Wes was a really good shooter and was a good defender, but more due to his hustle than his actual ability. Wes started getting really good posting up during his last year here before the achilles, but that was the extent of his offensive game. Hart pretty much does everything well and is more athletic, plus it isn’t like Hart is far behind Wes with his shooting.

Wes had a chest high dribble and wasn't great at finishing at the rim or fast breaks.....Josh is one of the best in the league at finishing at the rim. Transition buckets is something we haven't seen in ages in Portland...this team like to get out and run

With Sharpe and Nas needing minutes, Dame and Ant starting, GPII coming back, combined with the fact that Hart will likely be making $20m/yr with the way he’s playing, how would we possibly be able to keep him?

If the Bulls feel like they got a real shot and offer PatWill and our 1st back as a starting offer for Hart, would that deal too good to pass up for you?

I agree.....54 wins is my prediction! For the record I never said I "expect" anything. I just predict...the team has to make me right one of these seasons!

I ain’t even been here that long dude LOL. I’m just talking about the media’s expectations. I specifically remember what I was thinking every year since Aldridge left.

2015-16: I really wanted to be bad enough to get Ben Simmons, they ended up making the 2nd round.

2016-17: They ended up being 41-41 when it’s fair to say at the very least that they were expected to at least be better than the year before.

2017-18: I won’t lie I don’t remember what my expectation or the media’s expectation of this year was, but it was overshadowed by the fact that we severely underachieved in the playoffs getting swept. The consensus even among the media is that we would win that series, and we got swept.

2018-19: I expected us to beat OKC, but the media had us losing because we were swept in the season series. An overachievement.

Then outside of the Nuggets-loss year, I guess you could say we overachieved, but that’s still a mixed bag. I’d say overachieving anytime after the WFC year did us a disservice, we should’ve pulled the plug on that team sooner than we did.

Tough call for me. It would really speak to the culture if he and the organization have an agreement that he signs for a team-friendly deal. Of course if he did that, my mind would change completely. But until there’s news of that, I’m still in the “trade him while his value is high” camp.

Easy baskets have been a problem that has plagued Portland for years. When teams clamped down in 4th qtr we only had one guy who could get to the rim Dame. Now we have multiple guys and it shows by how many free throws we are getting. 3’s are great but crunch time free throws and few easy baskets are usually what wins games

Trade him while he's one of the most consistent/the most consistent players on the team and one of the best players on the team?

Why should Josh Hart sign a team-friendly deal? Did Dame and Ant sign team-friendly deals?
Hart is working his ass off and playing as well or possibly better than anyone on the team.
Nassir Little signed a team-friendly deal. Hart is not Nassir Little.
