    I don’t get what happens if he plays today? Just 10 min or so. Would it just cause a re-injury? He’s coming back “supposedly” next week anyways

    Not sure if its the reason or not but in another thread billups said something along the lines of that payton has had the injury a few times before and that its more a mental block of feeling ready than it is a physical one, which anyone whos played a sport at a decent level and had a injury that requires surgery... it can really get to your head.... add in a injury thats happened before more than once and you can see how itd be hard to get through some barriers.

    i think he means that you cant sleep on his 32% season stat when hes been shooting damn near 50% this month
