Brother this team was going nowhere in September when it WAS constructed. Those who thought so are blind to the situation. Oh nevermind. @THE HCP doesnt know anything about basketball remember.

 

I've seen this movie before. No matter who the director is and how much you change most of the actors, mediocrity, thy name is Portland.

Do me a favor and find a post where I have ever said that I like mediocrity. I’ll wait. I don’t like it, I acknowledge it. That’s the difference between me and most of these dudes in here that fucking blast me when I don’t predict 69 wins every season. I can see the lack of talent they can’t. So I have never got pissed on here after a loss either. Ever. I love that people can’t see that and just claim I don’t know anything about the game. The fools on here always crying and freaking out are also the ones who claim to be the real fans because they think we’ll win every game. This place will never change.

 

I know we're supposed to blame effort, attitude, and focus when things don't go well and we don't know why.

However, we do know the why... this is a roster with a couple major flaws. Oh, and .500 NBA basketball teams lose road games.

This is sports. Not all things can be quantified and modeled statistically. Effort and attitude are things that can’t be measured analytically. This is where a coach has to use their experience and knowledge.

There were 3-4 times tonight where someone passed the ball at the legs/feet of the receiver. I’ve yet to see a database of this statistic. I think passing the ball into a teammate’s legs/feet can be attributed to lack of focus/effort.

 

You right fam. I apologize. In fact you’re the most realistic on this forum. But I’ll give you credit you always keep it honest, but I’m not going to lie that first months start to the season fooled me! This team is still a joke!

We agree this is sports.

You don't find it odd that after nearly every loss there are people blaming the Blazers effort, care, etc... Yet you rarely see those same people saying the Blazers won because their opponent had poor attitudes and focus.

There are many reasons why a player might make a bad pass into a teammates leg, outside of focus/effort. Probablilty would suggest that Dame (a 90% FT shooter) is bound to have a game with 4 missed FTs. Though I'm sure people might say he wasn't focused.

You're not a Blazer fan in any sense that I can see. At all. If you were you'd be in the game threads during and after a win, congratulating the Blazers and praising players. Being positive. BUT, you just fucking disappear when Portland is playing well. Nary a peep from your bile-filled keyboard. You just show up and trash blazer players when they aren't playing well

Whom do you bump for Dame? I didn’t even mention Fox, Kyrie, and Harden. Or Halliburton. Are Butler and PG13 guards? Even if our position improves in the standings, Dame probably ain’t making it.
