The turnovers are just inexcusable at this point. Fucking ridiculous.

What's going on in his head? The weird bad passes, the free throw misses. The dude is having concentration problems while moving better than I've ever seen him move. Really strange.

Physically he looks great. Mentally it seems like something is missing.

Agreed....but it is still a roster issue as well. Cronin made one big move, but there is more to do after years of Neil. We are still way too small, and not defensively oriented enough. We also don't have a lot of athleticism in the front court, which is greatly needed to cover the back court.

I still don't think Dame/Ant works much better than Dame/CJ. The same issue still needs to be addressed.

Yeh, but if you overlook that asshole play on Lillard, is there anyone here who wouldn't want him on the Blazers?

You didn’t just watch his moving screen call?
The point was he gets a lot of those calls. I put the question mark because I didn’t think he moved. It was a knock on the officials.
Calm down. Nobody said anything bad about Nurk heaven forbid.

It frustrates me continuing to see Nurk do the same negative things. He has a horrible habit of bringing the ball down to his shins. It's been exploited a lot by opposing teams recently. He does it when he's under the basket. He does it when he's receiving the ball as a release 24 feet from the basket. He just always does it.

Then there's the obligatory illegal screen, although that's not always his fault. Our guards aren't particularly good at how they run their defenders off Nurk. Nurk gets caught in a bad position on those I'd say at least 40% of the time.

that was a flop by FVV.

That was not ANOTHER bad screen. That was a great screen that the refs missed.

Our lead guards combined for 11 turnovers and several passes again at people's ankles that didn't result in turnovers but definitely threw off the play.

7 total shots. They didn't score, but they didn't really get many attempts either. If they hit half their shots, maybe we get 6-8 points off the bench. They need more opportunities as well. They defer to Dame, or don't get many passes from Ant. Too young to be aggressive enough.
