Watford has to get the consistent minutes he needs to get comfortable. The guy can play, I think he's always shown that, but it's hard to get a groove going against NBA talent when you play 5 min here and there.

He kind of doesn't do enough besides the connecting stuff. If he was a good rebounder, or a really good 1:1 defender, or a good three point shooter....just one of those would make him playable on any given night. Tonight he shot well and defended well, that's why it looked so good.

I think that’s why we’ve missed Justise. He played that role better for us early in the season.

Watford had a great game... he deserves credit but as per usual some of you are such captives of the moment. If Watford was a featured part of our rotation, he would get scouted and exploited. I like the guy and he's a good bench piece to have but let's not lose our minds.

Watford's a good guy to have on your team. He's versatile and he works hard. Having a guy like that in practice will make your players better, especially your younger players.

I think as a regular rotation guy or a starter you begin to get into the law of diminishing returns. At his size, he'd be worn down by bigs over the course of a year playing big minutes, and other teams putting him into the scouting report would decrease the advantage he gives because he's a different type of 5.

    He's a super pinch-hit plug-and-play guy, though.

The Celtics did not beat the suns, but maybe Orlando can beat Minnesota in Minnesota , and Atlanta can beat Utah in Utah.

Eubanks is our starter now. And our starts to games have been bad.

If Watford is playing well, he's better than Eubanks overall.

that same guy that might give watford troubles can be taken off the dribble by Watford. Eubanks does not have that advantage.

We're gonna have to come up with a better nickname though.......

T wat , as Ant stated pregame, isn't going to cut it. Looks bad in print too.

You think? That's probably the worst nickname in the NBA.

Imagine saying a week ago that the team you supposedly cheer for is going to go 0-3 on the road trip and start it 2-0.

Oh that's right, that was a thunder fan.

Based on tonight’s production, 21 Watt?

Eh. Some nights Eubanks will be the better player, probably most nights depending on the matchup ... the only reason either starts is because Nurk and Justise both are hurt. Neither of them really is a good rotation player for a contending-type team. Maybe if you could send them through the Star Trek transporter together and have them come out merged into one player, it'd be different.

I've been thinking that all year. (edit) Pelicans on a 10 game losing streak when they were number one a few weeks ago?
