It really was and it felt like it sealed the game.

That was definitely a little mini dagger kind of moment. Killed any chance Washington had of coming back.

You could feel it was the dagger, and like an actual dagger Watford delivered it up close with a paint to baseline, no-look. It was just absolutely savage.

My original point was that someone was wanting to see him produce like this on a regular basis to give him credit and I thought that was a bit much to ask of someone with his size, skillset, experience, contract, etc.

Pinwheel wants to call him a PF. You want to call him positionless. Tonight, he was typically defending the opposing teams forward/big who had the least range. From a defensive standpoint, I call that a center. When Washington was running a double at Dame, he was put in the same position Nurk is often put at, which is the FT line. I think of Nurk as a center as well, for whatever that is worth.

No matter what, it was a great performance from him tonight. I think he's a major liability against a lot of matchups, but he was fantastic tonight. I'm thankful for that!

I'd go with model Tford over Twat...but I'm sensitive that way..

Tford opens up "Model T" nicknaming options, but that might be too much explaining for most people. Twat would be great if he became a defensive stopper. The "Twat Swat" would be must-hear play-by-play.

What's important is that Daniel Gafford is 6'10" and Kristaps Porzingis is 7'3".

I agree we can't expect him to shoot 75% from the field on a regular basis. And I agree he would struggle defensively against really big centers, which is why I see him as a 4 who can play the 5 against certain teams. The one thing I disagree is his skill set. He was highly regarded coming out of both HS and college, I just think he went undrafted because he was a tweener.....but he has always had skills and a high BBIQ.

I am not saying winning the MVP in the summer league is relevant, but watching him last July was encouraging. He showed a little of everything. I have always thought he would fit in well surrounded by shooters because of his ball handling for a big and his passing. Guarding the perimeter has always been my one concern for him, but for the most part unless the opposing team plays small ball with a smaller quicker PF...... I think he can. He needs to be in the rotation. It would be interesting to see a Dame, Ant, Grant, Eubanks, and Watford lineup against bigger lineups.

You don't go down 20 to good teams and win very often.

Don't really care about what the Suns and Warriors do. The Blazers just need to keep playing well.

new orleans pelicans played a lot of games without zion & ingram at the same time and phoenix played a lot of games without booker & cam johnson at the same time, so one can see why they started losing a lot of games

ingram is back and when they get zion back, they will start winning again and phoenix got cam johnson back and theyre already better, but when they get booker back, they will be much better

without injuries to their key players, we would be nowhere near top 4 and i just cant see us being in a top 6, new orleans pelicans & phoenix will move up in the standings, gsw will be better than us too, its play-in at best for us

still, watching us play this season, its hard to be optimistic, if we dont get in the play-in, it wouldnt be a surprise
