Bad offensive set. Dame is a good shooter from there, but that is not the shot you want to take.

No, I was commenting that this grown man types “LOL” after every post. Wonder if he’s says, “LOL” when standing around talking to other adults.

That would be 48 wins in a 82-game season.

Eubanks. Just does not have a nose for rebounds. Grant is Grant.

It got us Sharpe, which (as I said) is the only good thing Cronin has done. So, yeah, I think it worked out just fine.

I don't know if Cronin was looking for picks or not last year. If he was, he failed. He also traded for Grant, which meant giving up draft capital for a dude who wasn't going to be a difference maker and was on the last year of his deal.

Did the Blazers have "no chance" of beating Memphis in Memphis?

Dame had picked up his dribble and was looking for a teammate to get open to outlet the pass. His teammates, apparently, didn't know how to make themselves available (Eubanks did, but passing to Eubanks at mid-court against a set Bucks' half-court defense is not a good idea). That shot was a bit of frustration on Dame's part, IMO

I got that impression also from the look on his face. He was wide open and he simply said "If you are going to leave me here I'm gonna shoot it".

that could be true. It wouldn't have been a good look, trailing by 15, with most of the shot clock left, if he had bricked it

I was thinking this at the time. People often to get upset with the resutl of the shot much more than the quality of the shot. Being ok with that shot shouldn't depend on the end result.

he gave up a protected pick for jerami grant. Grant isn’t a difference maker? What world am I living in?

What difference has he made to the team this year?
They are 26-28 right now. Last year they were 21-33 at this point. Portland has won 5 more games. At least half of those have to be attributed to having Dame play 20 more games thus far this season.

So at best, Grant has made Portland 2-games better....

lol a few weeks ago ppl thought he had a chance to make the all star team. He’s having a rough stretch right now…this place man I swear. So jerami grant is no longer an impactful player? HA

The people who thought he had a chance at the all-star game were delusional.
Grant is a good player. He can score really well, but he's an average defender, a poor passer/facilitator, and an atrocious rebounder. He's not so elite at scoring to compensate for the weaknesses in the other parts of his game.

we got him for a protected first…look at what players price tags are right now. Jerami grant for a shorty first round pick is a win 100/100 times

Suggesting Grant isn't a difference-maker on one hand while also praising Sharpe on the other, is a pretty wild take.

I wouldn't trade Grant for Jalen Duren.
