I like how it appeared that Simons knew instantly he shouldn't have done that pass, and it even looked like he went over to say that to the rockets (albeit, that might be what I wanted to see).

It helped that Billups was giving him the stink eye.

it looks to me like he's changed his FT shooting stroke; it's much quicker and more compact

Sharpe gets his first NBA start and dazzles the crowd with multiple highlights. Nurk dominates inside. Ant has another crazy quarter. Good performances all around! Come talk about the game with us!

Well, we handled one of the worst teams in the league. Ant and Nurk played how they're going to need to play against good teams in order for us to stay competitive. Shaedon needs to sustain his aggressiveness on offense throughout an entire game the way he did in the first half. Everyone else played their roles well. With Dame out I would like to see Jerami step up a little more and become a little more intent on scoring the ball. All of that said, I'll take the win. 5-1 BABY!!!

    GO BLAZERS!!!

My bad... I should have considered that you don't say ridiculous shit like that. There are just some people in here that do and it knocks my sarcasm meter off a bit.

You think you're lagging? There was a timeout in the game and I went to look at the box scores and it showed the game being over! Went back to my stream and it was about three minutes before it finished. No wonder some of my comments get ignored here, they are so out ot time.

we needed this win and got it. now they can rest for a few days. Hopefully lillard comes back sooner rather than later. Sharpe is going to be amazing.

Taking Care Of Business. They went out and did their job and didn't let Dame being out distract them.

6 games into the season and Portland leads the Lakers by 4.5 games

at that rate, at the end of the season, Portland will have a 61.5 game lead over the Lakers

    Here it comes. Blasphemy.

Sharpe shows talent, athleticism and potential. That is a given.

However as I watched the game tonight, I kept watching for him and yes, he made a few jaw-dropping plays but overall, he was largely a non-factor.
    A role player.
    An NPC.

Do I believe he can be more? Yes.

However, he seems to still have timidity in his overall game.

    That's it.

That being said, I love the fact that he shows enough this early that he gets as much time as he gets and shows it is earned. I look forward to seeing his growth. Just not there yet.
