again i have to ask after seeing games like this....

what are we actually trying to do THIS season?

    - traded away Hart and his rebounding to keep this soft ass team that doesn't defend.
    - got yet another young guy in Cam after Chauncey chastised the roster nightly for being too young.
    - did not bother getting ONE replacement for Nurk who is still hurt.
    - have to rely on a guy with no real NBA chops to backup Dame because Ant is down and we have no real insurance at PG either.
    - couldn't secure an extension for Grant after all indications were that he was staying, so now that spot/contract is up in air.
    - again forcing Dame to kill himself going against defenses dedicating all their attention to him.

oh but Jody saved 6 mil.

    - if you're gonna tank, then tank.

this ownership and FO have the face to come out and say they are the "caretakers" of Dame's legacy. they need their collective asses kicked for lying to his face. fuckin assholes. I'm so done with Jody first. Then Cronin too because it's amateur hour with him.

Instead he played shitty rotations that were going to have one and only one outcome. It's like he is playing against Dames desire to win games and wants to tank.

glad I missed the game. Outscored by 35 in the 2nd half? really? Offense scored 40; defense gave up 75. How did special teams do?

Can’t really argue with what you added to this comment.
I agree the Warriors play like smart very experienced veterans and Kerr is probably a better coach than Billups at this point.

If you root for the lottery like myself you ease the mind of losses.

While also knowing in the larger picture it will mean so much more to the franchise than getting bounced in a play-in game.

    PROBABLY?!

Chauncey is bottom 5 in the league.

The problem is we still have Chauncey Billups as our coach.

why is dame playing 38 minutes tonight? why is he putting up 71? i'm fine with tanking.

then sit dame and trade him in the summer instead of lying to both him and us about the vision.

I agree with that. I’ve thought the vision is unclear for awhile now. Youth movement or let Dame slip away in the peak of his prime

We needed about 60 of those 71 points to beat the rockets, we aren’t very good. This offseason will be interesting.

Do you have some sort of metric that makes this deduction?
I mean do you take the players every team has and then like deduct injuries and make some sort of computation to allow for experience.
Wondering how you can actually say that with such assurance?

Are we trying to win or not? The Blazers shouldn't be leaving fans so confused. Dame is saying we are going for the playoffs, setting fan expectations. Nurkic and Winslow don't even seem to be injured anymore and are still being sat. Chauncey said in post game interviews we are going for it but is coaching to lose. Can everyone get on the same page? Can the Blazers make up their fucking mind?

Very interesting. If Lillard’s finally going to want to move on it might be before training camp if Cronin shits the bed again

Billups doesn’t have the fire or smarts to be a coach imo. Great player in his day and was clutch but another in the long list of former players that are shit coaches. We will probably keep him for 5-6 more years though.

If they convince Lillard to completely waste another year of his prime they might be convincing him to move on.
