I thought so too, but he finished the game 5-9, which is by far the best shooting percentage for a Blazer in this game.

Hard to point at Walker when Eubanks was 2-12 and Little was 4-17.

Nobody tanks better than Portland. It’s the only thing we’re really good at.

Yes, it's his fault. He's the one who made it so they can't trade any future picks right now. He's the one who kept CJ far too long, and traded away picks for nothing, let players walk for nothing, and depleted the assets to get players and signed players to shitty contracts and hamstrung any movement the team could do.

It's as if you haven't been paying attention.

Solid win. We move one step closer to maybe getting #1 and Sharpe drops 30 (albeit on bad shooting lol)

olshey is not the reason why jody decided to get even further under the tax this year at the deadline.

olshey hired chauncey. joe chose to endorse him.

olshey made two big blunders. the 2017 draft, and the trade for nance. what has Joe done that is noteworth?

dude's been fired for a year and half. he wasn't great. but we can get past blaming everything on him.

    hilarious.

I know and I’m not judging Chauncey on either of his seasons as head coach but I think he has an obligation to his players to put them in the best situation for them to not be completely shut down.

Looking at the box score I just wonder why Archie didn’t play the three minutes Shaedon sat. He could have at least in theory set guys up not to fail so miserably on offense.

Anyway, it doesn’t matter there really is only one guy playing right now with Trenton out that I want to see getting major playing time next season and he played 45 of the 48 minutes.

so you're mad that she didn't pay a massive penalty for a shitty roster?

It's weird that you think fixing the mess he left apparently should be fixed quickly.

Again, it's like you're not paying attention to anything that goes on.

It seems like it but his rosters have been fatally flawed his entire time here. I would hope we overhaul his coaching staff in the offseason with a better head coach in waiting than Scott Brooks but even if it is Brooks, if Joe puts together a decent roster then Chauncey should be on a short leash even in the early part of next season.

you can try to make a point without insults.

i'm mad that she has fostered a culture of losing. She is the leader of the franchise and the face of it, yet clearly has made every decision with only one thing on her mind: $.

What's funny is YOU are the one who is seemingly blind to it while calling me out. We had a chance to land a center who we desperately needed. We CHOSE instead to get five second round picks (three which might not even convey). We had a chance to keep the one guy EVERYONE loved because of how hard he played, but moved him because of financial ramifications without a replacement in mind. The team we gave him up to is solidly in the playoffs now as expected. We had a chance to sign guys on the waiver to make a push in Dame's best season yet. Yet we decided to cut 5 more mil of Jody's payroll for the year.

We even prioritized guys who are free agents in the summer so we will ONCE AGAIN duck the tax next year.

Keep your blinders on. And spare me the lectures about tanking. I wanted to tank after seeing our dumbass moves at the deadline when the writing on the wall became very clear what Joe wanted to do. It just sucks that this is how far our team has fallen in consecutive years. It's painful. They all sold us on this year being better but we might have a WORSE record than last season when Dame played half the games. That is sad. And not the fault of the guy who was fired a year and half ago.

it makes my blood boil to hear MVP chants for Tatum or dumbass Kings chants in our arena. Say what you what about Olshey, but this did not happen during his tenure.

Blazers need a lot of work, need new Owner, new GM, new Coach, new players. How many years we need to wait before we get back to the playoffs?

Olshey was dog shit. But nothing Cronin has done thus far really makes me think he’s much better.

I doubt he has the ingenuity to pull a rabbit out of his hat this offseason.

I do find these game threads amusing right now as people just pour it on the organization game after game, despite the objective we’re on is to lose (for the betterment of the future).
