I think Towns needs a change of scenery. It wasn’t long ago that the GM poll picked him to be the guy they would start a team with.

Clyde Drexler didn’t do it. So I wonder who was the last Blazer rookie to average 24.7 points over 7 games?

Edit: Looks like it was Kelvin Ransey, in the 1980-81 season.

Well, I'm willing to bet Petrie did it, since he averaged 25 a game for the year. And Wicks averaged that in his rookie year too.

Minnesota TV play by play announcer, early in the 4th quarter: “Today it looks like there is much more energy and bounce and life. And whatever this illness is that has decimated the team this past week looks like it’s on the way out.”

    Or not.

Karl Towns got 3 shots tonight. Edwards had 30 attempts. Gobert had 10.

Dumbass roster build with a clueless coach.

    We've been there.

Holy shit, that's insane. Not even the Blazers coaching has ever been that bad.

    Yeesh, people.

What are you supposed to say? "Hey, guys, go out there and lose to a team playing all-stars and trying to improve its playoff positioning and playing at home, to boot."

None of our starters played. None. We played Matisse "I airball layups" Thybulle more than 30 minutes, John Butler 18 and Jeenathan Offthestreet 13.

Yeah, winning probably cost us a percentage points better chance at Wemby, but we still have an OK chance and it's still a stacked draft.

Some of you people have to start thinking about improving what we already have over a chance at a shot at a potential lotto ball. Sharpe looking like he's next level is fantastic and bodes really well for the future.

    Good lord. Vision, children. Vision.

we are in the exact same lotto position now as we would have been had we lost.

I thought we were a game ahead of Indiana going into today and now we're tied with them. No?

I like the scenario where we have one more loss than Indiana and two more losses than Orlando/Washington

think we should focus more on wins. indy has one more so as long as we lose out, we still get #5

It just goes to show that if you’re within smelling distance of a star-type player you swing and miss on them, or, trade back for the role player type. 8 seemed wild high for Daniels, IMO.

Hold on...so it's a coaches fault for his player to choose not to shoot when he has the ball?

I’d be shocked if Sharpe played, tbh. Mays would be fun to watch though.

Yeah Sharpe won't play, maybe he practices with the team. They won't want him to be targeted by someone recklessly trying to make a name for themselves and risking injury.

Sabonis is damn good. Not quite as good as those other two, but he's not far behind. Averaging 19-12-7 and the main reason why the Kings are so good this year
