    My take-aways:

    J. Williams, Jr. has talent. There's some real potential there.

John Butler is comedy gold. Even when he makes a play I can't not laugh. I'm still giggling replaying his reverse somersault in my head. @THE HCP, if you could post that sequence, I'd be very grateful.

Great loss tonight. For a while there it looked like they didn't have it in them.

he’s hilarious how garbage he is.. all he does is shoot 3s and makes nothing. He’s probably one of those guys that always hits in practice and non game moments like Luke Babbit

How is this so hard to understand? Fun has nothing to do with it. There’s two games left and winning even a single game would massively hurt our chances at a player that could actually help Dame. Winning another game would make all this tanking for nothing.

He was saying it, but no one could see him because he was turned sideways.

Losing on purpose in a game of competition, is pathetic.

The new guys get to be NBA players. I’m glad for them.
The Blazers need the losses, and it will be a good day when that ends. For a couple more games, it’s math.
Getting the Knicks pick to free the future 1sts was being prepared for opportunity instead of can’t compete in the trade.
Getting the 2nd rounders is sweeten the package and take Schmitz Shots — good, low cost and sold now at Trader Joe’s.

Butler seems like a good guy. I'm happy for him that he's getting to play. He has shown visible improvement in every game he's played during this stretch. I will be shocked if he becomes an average NBA player. If he never plays another NBA game after next week, his stint with the Blazers is something he and his family can be proud of for the rest of his life. Gotta be happy for the underdog. It's like watching the one super tall uncoordinated lost kid at your son's 8th grade basketball games hustling all over the place causing havoc. Just warms the heart.

Yeah. I would be beyond shocked if he played even 2 more years in the NBA. Good kid, but just doesn't have IT.

I actually ran into him one time at a Publix by my house here in Tallahassee before he was drafted. It was the same store where the famous Jameis Winston crab legs story happened. Haha

Unless of course you have to think about how you are going to be able to compete next season. I know it sucks but it makes it suck even more because some of you in this forum don't seem to have the ability to grasp what being competitive actually means, so you bitch and moan constantly about the intentional losses.

On the pro level, being competitive means doing whatever you have to, outside of cheating, to win a championship... tanking isn't cheating.

On this point....it has been cool this road trip watching our G-League guys arriving to the arenas. I'm sending out our cameras to get shots of them as they walk off the bus.....the guys who are always in the background of my shots of Ant and Dame walking in are now in the front like Eubanks and Walker. Or even better, last night these G-League guys are getting the shine. We are shooting them and the photographers are flashing lights at them. Mays,Williams,Shaq.....etc. They had smiles on there faces and were trying to look all cool. 2 weeks of staying in a Four Seasons over a Motel 6 is probably a pretty good feeling for them. Great experience for these young men.

I still don't know what will be more valuable for the Bulls, the Knicks pick or a future second rounder and having our pick unprotected next year and I don't know if that matters. If I was the one giving them options I would just offer them next year's pick and one of the two second rounders that we'll have next year. I think the Knicks pick will have more value in a trade package than our pick next year will. I think Joe can easily find out what the GMs he's negotiating with would rather have.

I don't think you're going to want to give back Wemby if we win the #1 pick....

imagine if Chauncey didn't play John Butler at Point in the last minutes.

No Scoot in Portland if that doesn't happen and we pick at 6 or 7 lmao
