So is Shaq Harrison playing for us today then joining the Lakers for the playoffs?

We hardly knew ye, Shaq. Either way... good for him. I hope he gets a lot playoff minutes when the Lakers insert the end of their bench as they are getting blown out.

we are a solid 17 point underdog. Looking good for 5th pick in the draft

might as well drop this here:

according to Spotrac, Portland exercised the 2023-24 option on Keon Johnson last October. that's for 2.8M. I sure hope that was because of planning to use that salary as trade-filler. either Mays or Harrison would be better deep bench backup PG's

Yeah, I remember that from the Fall. I can understand that it was worth the gamble to see if he could take the next step (it appears he hasn't). Even if he is on the roster next year, it's kind of meh, not really devastating. But yes, if the Blazers make a bigger move (i.e. something involving Simons/Nurk/Nas), I'd assume the Blazers will try to attach as part of the deal.

Does this mean he'll be a free agent? 22-23 season is ending today...

Something tells me at some point Elleby makes it back in the league. Works really hard. Plays for Salt Lake G league team.

Given what is going on with Dallas this injury report is really smart because we can sit Sharpe, Watford and Knox at any point in the game and Drewbanks if he starts, saying we are protecting those injuries and the league can't say we didn't report them.

    My dream scenario:

Pacers and Magic both win, which means we are locked in into the 5th best lottery odd.

All our players are magically healthy to play, Dame goes nuclear on the Warriors, Shaedon scores 40 too. And we send those assholes into the Playin

Yeah they should feel no shame about doing the best thing for our team and making sure it doesn't cost us any kind of penalty in the future.

Shameless and Blamelessly tanking... I love it. You are right they are shameless about it but I do feel that they aren't to blame for it. It's the NBA's job to incentivize these teams and they have not solved this problem. It's these teams' responsibility to put themselves in the best position to succeed and if they aren't in a good place to compete now they have to do what's right to be the most competitive in the future.

Shameless and Blameless is the only way to...

I like Keon as a deep bench backup...just not as a PG. My guess is he will either get traded or someone else will get traded at his position and he will stick as an SG. As we have seen so many times before when an SG is asked to run the offense his own offense suffers. But I know some fans will just look at his stats and not take it into consideration.
