I don't see how they don't jump at Derick Favors for this team. He would add size and strength with a veteran presence. If he makes it through waivers they need to make him an offer. I don't see them taking on that salary. It's a $10 million cap hit.

I doubt it; Blazers won't want to risk luxury tax, they probably try to make a move and duck it at the deadline. Adding Favors makes that more difficult.

Also regardless of salary, does adding a player like Favors make sense for a lottery rebuilding team?

I wouldn't sign them if in theory they'd fit to a two way contract; we don't need a lumbering old big man. Having Nurk for that role is more than enough, for backups we need a more mobile option at center.

anyone like Crowder for Hart, opens up more minutes for Payton/Keon/Sharpe/Nas

I’m still in the Let’s see what this team can do mode.

With Dame out for a few weeks, and Sharpe starting against Houston, is this our new depth chart?

This team has been fun to watch so far this season. Lots of interchangeable parts. That leads to tons of options for different lineups.

    My questions:
    - When Dame comes back, does Hart slide back up to starting SF, or will Sharpe hold on to that starting spot?
    - Where does GPII fit in? Who's minutes does he take?
    - When Watford returns, how does he fit in? Has Eubanks performed well enough to hold on to that backup spot? Does Watford slide to PF?
    - Will Nas develop into a player that challenges for more minutes?

I love how Cronin has built this team. It's a nice balance of vets and developing young talent.

Keon is more of a PG than GP2, so I would exchange them

    Hot take.
Dame is faking the injury to implant sharpe into the starting lineup. He will caress the injury until Sharpe has proven he needs to remain there.
Dame knows whats best for long term success!
