If my dad had been with my mom he probably would have. My mom came out of remission 3 more times over the years, including one time requiring radiation therapy on her scalp. She never wore a wig again during her cancer treatments. But the radiation has left a permanent bald spot on her head and even though she didn't wear a wig she is very sensitive about having a bald spot. Works very hard on styling her hair to cover it. Just saying, especially with women, while they might say something like hair loss doesn't bother them they're still sensitive about it.
What Chris Rock Said Backstage After the Will Smith Slap, According to Reports. https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/os...ding-to-reports/ss-AAVBjxg?li=BBnbcA0#image=4 This tends to confirm to me that Chris Rock didn't quite get that he had done anything wrong at the time.
My grandmother had a condition very similar to Jada and she wore a wig every day of my life. I saw her without a wig every once in a awhile and she was mostly bald. I can’t imagine the wig was comfortable but she did it. I know that men are sensitive about losing hair but it’s a socially accepted thing. Male pattern baldness is extremely common. It’s not socially normal for women to go bald and I can only imagine the social pressure. I’m sorry your mom had to go through that.
It just shows you how insensitive folks that try to equate male pattern baldness with a woman becoming bald are.
Tsk tsk - judgemental reverse sexism. You are lumping all men together. How do you know that some men aren't sensitive to losing their hair? If they are, what right do you have to judge them?
My mom had the same type of cancer Paul Allen did, nodular lymphoma. It's a cancer of the lymphatic system. So it can pop anywhere you have a lymph gland. My mom would battle cancer, beat it, go into remission, then it would pop up somewhere else. After her 5th occurrence, 4th time coming out of remission my mom told my dad and I, she will fight it this one last time but she didn't have another battle left in her. That was very sobering but we understood. The chemo, puking, baldness, weakness, having to work through it. It's hell. Luckily she has never had to battle it again.
Not all men lose their hair. Guys can be sensitive about losing their hair. I don't have as much hair as I once did either. Still isn't the same thing as a woman losing her hair. Sorry.
