Walker looks ahead of the curve....smooth.
Keon looks like he is auditioning for other teams.
Didi Elleby is 0-for- Summer League.
KyLex showed some nice skills and put his length to good use.
Watford is better when he doesn't press.

Nice bounce back game. Still sucks that Shae is sitting on the bench.

Could Jabari actually START for us in frontcourt with Grant and Nurk? The spot is there for him if he works for it.

Does Grant have to work for his spot? His effort
level / motor was clearly below Little and Winslow and Hart last season.

Damn, Walker was impressive. Just one summer league game, sure, but he could be a steal.

    1. Walker looks like an NBA player. PF. Really nice pick. Give this kid time to develop his good frame and work on everything in his game.
    2. While looking at video of Ibou Dianko pre-draft (a year ago), his size, length and movement was impressive. Then Yannick Nzosa's straight line movement of the court was even better. But Kyle Alexander is a different level. Just so fast for a BIG. Work with this kid. Even with 4 years at Tennessee, he looks like he's a couple years away but worth the small investment in $$$ and years of time with the Blazers. Sign this kid.

After reading that, I will watch him more closely but so far he seemed to just kind of disappear. Oops, I see he was 4 for 5 with 3 blocks in limited minutes. One problem, 6 fouls in those limited minutes,

He missed his first two, so pretty good after that.

I like his defensive potential. He weighs less than 220 but is much quicker than Nurk or Eubanks. I think he fills a void at a cheap salary. Sounds like he can also guard taller PFs if Grant is out, or in foul trouble. We don't have a whole lot of other options.

They look at Alexander as 2 way player.
