Yes, while the Jazz are shopping Clarjson and Sexton, and just drafted Keyonte George, I'm 100% sure they want ANOTHER player in that broad mold.

 

I know some people just want to be angry about this game, but look at our rookie having two good games in a row!

the 3rd quarter was 8 straight minutes of being tortured by the Jazz. The Blazers already down 15, came out of halftime like freezer burned frozen yogurt. Portland shot 1-16 during this 2nd half stench, which included 5 Kessler blocks and 4 Blazer turnovers. Utah built a 33 point lead.

Fans in Moda were booing pretty loud. And you know what, i'm glad they were. Because this Blazer team has shown they can play pretty darn good. And fans were really excited to see quality Blazer basketball.

The media implores the Blazers fanbase to keep expectations low. But we've seen time and time again the Blazers kicking butt. This Portland squad has raised fan expectations by playing really good hustle basketball.

What i'm saying is the boobirds were coming from a good place. Fans want MORE cool Blazer basketball, and tonight they didn't get it.

 

Scoot will tell it like it is. The kid wants to win, he's not overly exuberant about empty stats in a beatdown.

we didn't trade for him, but Neil Olshey signed Evan Turner to a cap slurping contract. Turner was hitting game winners against the Blazers! Of course when he got here, a Portland garbage truck was going like 60 down a hill, lost control, ripped off part of his house and landed in the pool. Evan never recovered from NW Disposal Traumatic Syndrome.

 

Never Mind! Obviously I don't know jack. Vegas made some money on that one. Glad I don't bet on sports.

 

Dennis Smith Jr is a good comparison for what we've seen up to now.
High athleticism, poor shooting efficiency and underwhelming assist/turnovers and assist/36 min.

 

First game back after a grueling one game road trip this is to be expected. Including this game they get a 5 game home stand. Bound to win one of them right? Right?

The ironic thing, is the Blazers are a basement dwelling team, but they are not paid one one. 16th highest team salary. Somebody is over-paid.

 

This IMO is what knocked us out early. Utah focused everything on Ant and Billups made zero adjustments. Chauncey is a great tank commander and has the respect of the players. Usually they play hard for him. But he can't adjust. We're going to have to can him next year at some point.
