Why would you have the hot hand take the last shot? You need to think with better Billups-logic.

 

Imagine Dame leading a 4th qtr comeback and a chance to win and give it to Jerami

 

The only positive, we might welcome this loss late in the season if there is a race to the bottom.

 

Or do the thing that the opposition isn't expecting with a guy that you trust. Jerami got a good look going towards the hoop and just didn't make it.

This loss is on the terrible effort for the first three quarters not anything that happened at the end of the game. If you want to fault Chauncey for not having the team ready to compete in a winnable game, that's cool but he coached well down the stretch.

this dude is better than Dame at his age. When has a franchise ever had a do-over? Surround Dame with garbage for years they finally have a chance to build a roster around Simons that makes sense.

 

LMAO. That was hilarious. Should have been Ant with an ISO. He can get a great shot anytime he wants AND he was sizzling. The fact that this game was close is problematic anyways. Need to find a better way to integrate Ant into the offense. It's stalling.

 

The Wiz have some win now pieces that I expect them to keep. I think we'll send Jerami and Malcolm out in trades and be even less competitive.

I can see us ducking into the bottom three to have a three way tie for the best lotto odds.

Grant and Simons had good games that prevented this team from getting blown out at home to the Wizards. They're not the problem. This teams biggest problem is the low offensive effectiveness of everyone else.
