I think Walker fired off 2 from team O-boards after doinking the first attempt. Reset the offense? Naaahh, just keep launching that puppy.

If Scoot can almost drop a triple double in games where he shoots badly, I can live with it lol

The end result was inevitable when you have 3 good scorers out. 1-12 from three for Walker, Thybulle and Murray. Although I thought Murray played pretty well.

There was 1 play that distinquished itself as most definitely bad offense.

Getting towards crunchtime, with the Blazers chance to get back in the game fading, Denver ran a trap at Simons right corner. Ayton rolled strong side, with Scoot zipping aimlessly between the top circle and the Nuggets bench.

Shot clock winding down... both Jabari and Thybulle were stacked on top of each other weakside calling for a 3 point look. It was baaaad. The paint was WIDE OPEN for a cutter, but neither Blazer Forward wanted to dive towards the basket. I think Ayton had to hoarf up an ugly 19 foot jumper with no time to shoot.

i think the Blazers are 0-7 w/out Grant. The Draft Express guys are licking their chops. Trading Jerami would set up a run at the #1 pick for a couple seasons.

Ayton was the high man in Portland for the first time this season (27pts)

I didn't think it was a bad performance by the Blazers. They actually overachieved for a good part of the game; just had no margin for error and the margin collapsed because Denver had too much talent and experience

Blazers 1-14 from three in final 16 minutes. 100% uncut chuckball. The team just wants to get the hell outta Denver and come home.

Wasn't just offense. Blazers decided to complete stop playing defense. Wide open threes, unimpeded lanes to the basket, free layups. No defense. Just a lot of standing around and watching.

I collapsed the team. Forgot the game started early and flipped on the TV halfway through 2nd quarter.

Blazers up 14 !! Go get these Nugs. I grabbed a slice of pizza, then everything went to crap. This loss is all my fault for having "good expectations".

said every Westbrook fan, except for L.A. Even though Laker fans are the top 3 dumbest in NBA, they knew something about overall stats didn't correlate with winning basketball.

You can't see it but I'm rolling my eyes as hard as I can.

Westbrook had players actively feeding him rebounds. His stats were hollow. They weren't real.

He's a flawed player but in his prime, was incredible. If you told me Scoot was going to be prime Westbrook, you would take that all day long.

Anyone who suggests otherwise doesn't know basketball.

Scoot was the reason we lost. Scoot was running the show during Denver’s big run. Bricks, turnovers, and bad decisions. I’m fine with it though. He’ll learn from that experience and he’s going to be 8- to 10-time All Star.

When a player goes 3-16 though, it's usually safe to say they were the reason, or a big reason you lost.

Where were his older, more experienced teammates to help pick up some of the slack?

It wasn’t just the shooting though. During that run, Denver was playing off him, and he was trying really hard not to shoot but that led to the turnovers.
