We moved up to the third spot in the draft and therefore had more to choose from. Weird that this has to be explained.

And only two turnovers each night, even with all those minutes.

I'm starting to warm up to Chauncey with the way all his mismatched rosters have been scrapping reecently even in losses. I'm starting to see what sort of team we'll have under his coaching and I've gotta say, he's getting results. He's not afraid to give guys a lot of rope

speaking of Banton, I wonder if the more interesting stat is that Chauncey played him 80 minutes the last 2 games

We're in a better lottery position this year than we were last year and actually playing some guys that might have value to the franchise or on the trade market. Seems like a win win to me.

Perhaps he feels Blanton’s career might echo his own in that he bounced around a couple homes before it all finally clicked?

It is going to be rough but especially so tonight with several starters out.

Seems like not having a go-to scorer might be related.

Next draft looks better. Rather give it now. I don't think even the #1 pick is all that great this year.

I think he's got some nerve trying to hang a career game on us.

There were many, the Canadian broadcast showed several of them. But the two guys in Raptors retro jackets courtside were from Ireland.

I felt bad he missed that game winner. Could use some good vibes here and there.

We like him a lot, actually. Smart player. I would like to see him get more minutes.

I thought before the game you guys look like a bunch of winners!

Perfect situation for him really. Free license to run wild like Hulkamania. I think knowing he won't be yanked after missing two jump shots in a row he's got some confidence back in his shot.

Friend of mine sent me this one. I rarely search for tweets, you just need to follow the right people who retweet good stuff, I guess.

Related to assist rate and wins having no correlation? I'm not following how that makes sense.

I'm pretty stoned but I think I meant the these teams are passing well out of necessity and not necessarily as a function of an effective offence. The 'leading the league in assists' storyline is one the Raptors commentators have adopted in looking for positive spins besides player development and trades. It sounds better than it is. And we've had one of like five guys each night stepping up this season leading to pretty staggering inconsistency.

The Raptors commentators noted that the Blazers were the last team that GTJ had not scored 20pts against in his career (until tonight), not counting the Raptors, who he hasn't still.

Blazers have the most wins on the 2nd night of a back to back in the entire NBA this season.

Banton can be our Derrick White. I'm quite impressed.

Gotta say, the three home games this week were all at least somewhat entertaining - which is a change from the past two March stretches of games. I definitely am on board with Ayton - he's been great when healthy since the New Year.

Also, it was great walking out a winner for the first time since January. The walk back to the car is a lot shorter even in the cold after a win.
