Coaches always get fired in the end, so "fire another coach" doesn't really make sense. Nothing with Chauncey has anything to do with Terry. Chauncey has this year to prove himself. He's not off to the greatest start.

I'm discussing the style of play last night and you come in here bringing up Eric and my "fans" then try to say I'm muddying the waters? Hahaha. You literally made this about my co-host, "fans", my work and threw in a dig for good measure, when I'm just talking ball. Then you complain about me not answering a question when your first statement was you telling me what my answer to it would be?

Why are you complaining about me not answering something you think you already have the answer to? Why are you randomly going after Eric? This shit is WEIRD bro.

I would've happily talked about basketball if that's what you wanted to do.

So as expected you gave a very vague answer that all coaches get fired in the end. Then muddied the water a bit by bringing up Stotts. Strangely left out the GM part? Ownership is a toss up I guess?
I do agree he has this year to prove himself as well as probably next year. I'm looking for improvement in players as well as at the coaching level. Highly doubt you will see a coaching change for the next 3 years. 2025-26 would be my guess. Unless of course this team has turned the corner and become a solid playoff team with contention as a possibility.

That comment was not to you. You are now forever attached to your partner. Even when you go your separate ways. Your partner and through association YOU decided to get vulgar and out of line on Twitter towards me. Sorry but that makes you fair game. Deal with it. You are very welcome to put me on Ignore and Block me. I have never done anything but support you and your partner in your work, but he and again by association you, decided that was not good enough for you. When someone has a different opinion your partner and by association YOU, tell people to "Fuck Off" and continue your emotional tirades online. It's childish. People don't let their emotions control their intellect when they are trying to build something like you are building.
Take your Lumps and admit when you get things wrong. People in the future will respect you more. Just not me. You both lost my support.

    Kjironman WAS a fan!!!

Why would Chauncy have just THIS season to prove himself…… this is the LEAST talented roster he’s had since he got here.

I don't think anyone is on CB's ass because of losses. Rather the primary concerns are player growth. CB can't make the ball go in the hole but he should be able to help this roster get better looks. This is an iso offense, for whatever reason, and while that may net (pun) a win here and there it doesn't really do much for long term growth, imho. Look at the guys just standing around on offense, camped out at the 3pt line. How is it EVER beneficial to just stand there? Even less so with no real killer 3pt shooting.

Blazers are friendly to each other. We don't see teammates throw hissyfits amongst themselves. Billups has encouraged a fun, happy, stay positive basketball family. Sometimes the team can even win a game or 2. What more could an NBA owner want ?

well, in 41 games last year, Blazers averaged 18,716 attendance. In 2 games this year, 18,748. Now, this year's number will likely drop if the Blazers are 15-20 games under .500 by the new year; and they might be. But as long as tickets are being sold Jody & the Vulcans probably won't give a shit about anything else besides cutting costs in obscure ways

It did to me also? Not sure how he came up with Bone and Ligament damage from that play? Also the reports are kind of confusing? Why would they consider a "Clean Up" surgery to get him back in 2-3 months? Why not just call him out for the year and get an injury exception while taking care of the injury and rehabbing correctly from the beginning? He has enough talent and he is on contract long enough to go through the motions to take care of him. To me doing anything less would be a waste of time? This team isn't competing this year. Perfect time for him to get healthy if it's at all possible.

play was definitely one of those walk off a curb and break your leg type situations. Honestly the way i saw the replay was that his shoe almost gripped too much when he was expecting more give and it caused his knee to very slightly twist inward causing whatever the fuck happened to his knee, I do agree with @kjironman1 that we should just call him out out and get whatever exception we can get and heal him up proper.

I'm sure they have to do the surgery to rule him out to get an exception. Some surgeries they are back in a couple months. But I agree, take the season off.

Listening to Billups after the game; he is asking Grant to take a lot more shots with Anf out. So, for those that this is bothersome, shouldn't be permanent. I wonder if Billups will ask Grant to get more rebounds now that Williams is out? :)

This season should be all about developing Sharpe and Scoot and getting the most out of Ayton.
Grant has a 51% true shooting percentage so far this season (only his first two seasons in Philadelphia were worse) , and is shooting 29% on his 3-pointers.
Asking Grant to take more shots is a complete failure by Billups.

Sharpe is shooting 38% on 3-pointers and has a TS% of 57.7% which is higher than anyone on the roster other than Matisse Thybulle and Robert Williams.

What Chauncey should be saying and doing is trying to get as many good shots for Sharpe and having Sharpe handle the ball as much as possible.

Obviously Billups has much different objectives that fans would expect.

You brought up Stotts by saying "another coach".

We're different people bro. If you can't talk to me without talking about HoopsJock like we're physically joined at the hip, then I don't want to conversate with you. You and Eric had a squabble and you're blaming me for it through association? That's ridiculous.

You have a really bad way of telling people exactly what they should do. Eric asked you not to and you did it again. Then you attacked him. Now you're trying to attack me for being "associated" with that out of the blue when I'm just in here trying to talk about basketball. You're the one that sounds emotional.

Because he's had three seasons already with different rosters, and style of play isn't solely determined by the amount of offensive talent on the roster. A less talented roster has even less of a reason to resort to iso-heavy hero-ball, yet we're seeing that again even though he had "his guys" going into the season.
